Since I have over 39 years of experience in garment development/making. For the Entertainment, Music, and Movie industries. Also, as a production garment maker/CAD designer. As well as work with a stylist at a daily rate. My process involves, 1. Drafting patterns from scratch. 2. Taking tailored measurements at a cost fee. 3. Lay planning. 4. Cutting. 5. Spec. Sheets/Cost Sheets. 6. Sewing the garments up to specifications. When it comes to Alterations. I follow high standards for quality alterations. That are delivered fully press or steam. Consulting with the client every step of the way. 1. I delivered on time, with accuracy, and in under a week or less depending on the schedule of course. 2. I work on scheduling the clients. I only will offer quotes at the studio premises. Where the garment (s) can be assessed in and on the person. 3. After 1 day with having met with a corporate representative, a vague excuse ended my time there. Their way of delivering exiting payroll was a bit questionable and run poorly For the first time in over 30 years, I felt like I was being treated like a, pardon the expression, fag again. It was disturbing and disappointing to say the least. But as I mentioned earlier this excludes the store itself and the staff they are expetional.
