Called to find out what happened and was promised the owner would call us. Still waiting. My dog was not provided good care and staff we spoke to didn't seem to care or take us seriously. Terrible experience after using their daycare for some time.

She also had the audacity to try to gaslight me when I relayed a conversation I had with her staff and she repeatedly insisted that the things I told her never happened. I asked the staff to run every test possible on all four of my dogs, then called back later and found out they hadn't included a heartworm test in the bloodwork we sent off, so I had to tell them to add that. 10 days later I noticed two of them had unhealthy stool and sent samples to the lab at A&M, where they all tested positive for hookworms -- so evidently they didn't do a fecal test either. I understand mistakes due to miscommunication or organizational error, but the staff was overtly unhelpful every time I called, and Helen told me blatant lies every time we talked.

I heard about the VHR Ranch and decided to give them a call, Vicki's very sweet and knowledgeable of animals. Our dogs were very comfortable after meeting Vicki and so were we. Their kennels are very clean and they took special notes on feeding, exercise and medication. We received updates and pictures while we were gone which put our mind at ease, our boy was played with and exercised every day and Grace went on short walks. We got the full package and had them groomed before coming home, they were beautiful and smelled great!

We were referred to South Central and the nice ladies at the desk picked up, they told us to bring him in ASAP and made us feel hopeful again that our boy will survive. My husband and I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Walla and Dr. Sodek when we got there. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and definitely impressed us. Dr. Sodek suggested different options and was kind, compassionate and not at all pushy. We chose surgery and when he gave me the price for the treatments including hospitalization - and it was so affordable! Long story short, Dr. Sodek and his wonderful team is the reason my boy is still alive and recovering. Not to mention the daily calls I get to update on his condition. He is now back at home happily recovering.

She was in a sharp, sharp, decline. I stayed up with my dog all night and loaded her up at 7am on SATURDAY morning and drove to Bellville (I live in Fulshear and usually go to their other clinic in Simonton, but they weren't open Saturday). As soon as they opened, I explained my situation and they took my dog in. As soon as Dr. Mary arrived, she helped my baby cross the rainbow bridge before seeing anyone else. Their whole morning was upended by my arrival and when I left, they had several people in the waiting room, all who I apologized to on my way out. I messed up their entire Saturday schedule, but they prioritized ending the pain of my dog, and for that.. 1) Dr. Mary will ALWAYS have my business and 2) I will never be upset again if I have to wait awhile in her waiting room, because she might be helping someone in the same situation I was in about a year ago.
