I spent ,over one hundred dollars on toys, I asked for a git receipt. The young man,taped it on one of the overpriced toys. Today I went it with a coupled of duplicate items, with the receipt,in their bag and the owner MARK, said he shouldn't credit my charge, because I didn't have a receipt! I wasn't only given a gift receipt. I will not do business with unethical people, who are not only overpriced..but TWO DAYS later with a receipt would not take the items back, brand new in box with gift receipt. I guess he's so money hungry, that he doesn't realize that customer service is most important! He was nasty and told me to write a REVIEW! I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. read more

I would definitely recommend this store but they are very high. I got a very large cupcake pop it and it cost 30 dollars,I got at least 7,8,9 things and I spent all of my 100 dollars that I got for my birthday on all of that.They have VERY good customer service and very good quality.So for you if you want to go to Learning Express please expect to spend some MONEY MONEY MONEYYYY :) :).:) read more

This is a great place to come here and explore new toys. The 2 reasons I gave this shop a 4 star rating was because they have to many overwhelming prices. And is such a small place to come too. I don't know how the staff do it. it is always too hot, too crowded and is too small. There are a couple of reasons I like this store. They wrap gifts for free they are so creative when wrapping. A complete scam of a store. First & last time I'll be visiting. They sent out these official discount vouchers a few weeks ago, ending on 05/01/21 - says right there that LEGO is the only thing excluded. Turns out the Squishmallows (the products advertised with the discount) aren't even included, but you won't find that out until checkout. So not only was this false advertising but you would need to spend an additional $35 to get the $7 off (since the Squishmallows apparently don't apply there either). As a person who has worked in all sorts of services jobs, LET should have just bit the bullet with this one instead of turning everyone down. Store associates claimed they aren't able to do that deal but the voucher ONLY applies to their Wilmington store, so they obviously are the ones that sent it? Extremely disappointed. The products are already vastly overpriced. Go to Walmart, Walgreens or CVS, you can get the same thing for $10-20, head to target and you can get a huge one for $30. Not only that but when I asked to carry my two objects out without wasting plastic the associate informed me I HAD to use a plastic bag to leave and wouldn't allow me to just take the receipt & gift. Just so other people will get advertisement from us leaving the store with a logo bag. Spend your money somewhere else! I know I will. I wish I hadn't gone at all. Good riddance! read more

I gave this shop a four because it is a great store! It's so fun for Christmas shopping and they always have the neatest trends in that store! The reason I didn't give it a five was because the place is really small. It gets really hot and busy in there. They need a bigger and better store for kids and adults to shop in. It is amazing how fast and nice the wrapping paper is! Great job! read more

Selection is merely standard though grossly overpriced. Management is a trainwreck. Spent nearly $40 on 3 simple items for a birthday gift. Was offered gift wrap and agreed. Waited almost 45 minutes as 5 or 6 employees piddled around and chit-chatted. After another guest who had been waiting longer than me demanded her purchased items and said she'd wrap them herself, the manager noticed me standing near the counter (as I had been for 45 minutes). She had the audacity to nonchalantly ask me if I was waiting for gift wrap - she was the one who checked me out and offered it! She then asks me what I had purchased, and tells me mine is ready, that the girl couldn't find me when she was done. When I pointed out that she couldn't have looked very hard, it was a small store, the manager responded by telling me the girl was new, and showed no concern. Good management doesn't throw employees under the bus, and they should value customers' time. I'm sure Toys R Us once thought they'd never collapse, either. It can happen Learning Express. I will spend my time and dollars elsewhere. read more

Mangers and employees will lie about when certain stock of a product like Squishmallows will be put out or released. Even when the products get released not all of them are out for customers before employees get to pick the ones they want first. UNFAIR!!! read more

This store is amazing. I literally want to buy everything in the store (for me of course ;)) It's a little on the pricier end, but you are getting quality and awesomeness, so I guess it's worth it! I'll definitely be shopping here more when I actually have kids and when homeschooling begins! read more

Had the BEST time at the FREE Music for Babies class today (called ahead to reserve our spot) My 10 month old girl joined a group of about six other babies for singing, instruments, dancing, and a good time. Beautiful store and environment. We ended up purchasing a maraca toy to continue the party when we got home. We will definitely come in for another class soon, so fun! read more

I am a big fan of the Learning Express in Hanover Center. They have a big selection of toys that is constantly changing presented in a way that is cheerful and festive. I often have had trouble getting my son to leave the store because he enjoys it so much there. The staff is pleasant and knowledgable about the products that they sell. They are always willing to help with recommendations. You can run in for a gift on the way to a birthday party and they will even wrap it for you for free! read more

False advertising. Overpriced. Had a $10 off $40 purchase coupon sent to my house. I already knew they were overpriced based on a previous visit but they sell Lego and I happened to be looking for a few Christmas items that only they had left in stock. With the $10 coupon it almost balances out to Target or Walmart. No exclusions on the coupon. Wasn't expired. Now I know why they had them in stock. I get in there and Lego is overpriced as usual but I grab the boxes and get to the counter and the cashier (guy in a Santa hat) tells me I can't use the discount. Wasn't helpful at all or interested in seeing what could be done until I asked to speak to the manager. Playing this off like a special favor a girl that got involved let me have my $10 savings "just this once"... Honest to god I only think they're in business because they sit next to Whole Foods and after paying for overpriced groceries these people can pay for overpriced toys. read more
