The learning choice academy was the absolute worst experience for a school that I have ever seen. The staff and teachers are rude, unorganized, condescending, discouraging, unclear about their expectations, and very clearly do not know how to conduct a classroom effectively, if at all. And despite being such a small school, there are little to no personal relationships or communication between teachers and students. The campus is horrendous, and has nothing but small, isolated classrooms. The workload for the students is extremely inconsistent, and many students regularly are sleep deprived due to staying up all night completing ridiculous amounts of unfulfilling book work. The instructions for completing the work assigned is most often unclear or redundant, and such instructions are elusive, with teachers procrastinating to post them online. My personal experience with the students attending this school has shown that the vast majority of students there would much rather attend a different school, but do not have the resources or permission to do so. The children at the school are generally not social, and strive to achieve the bare minimum in order to graduate. I have seen perfectly happy students sink into near depression here, from feeling meaningless and from loneliness. This is not a recommended option for educating your child. I don't know where any of the good reviews of this school are coming from. An absolute miserable experience. read more
