I called the store as a last resort because they were physically closed and I was disheartened. When I called, he answered and I explained my situation. He was completely empathetic and asked that I text a list of the needed items to him, and he was kind enough to put everything together in a bag for me, met me in front and conducted our exchange at that point. With all that was going on, that single token of kindness was worth SO much to my family. But we ended up going right across the street to the new location which boasts a wide variety of outfits across 2 floors. The experience, I'll admit, is hectic. You're constantly bobbing and weaving through other customers, there's one fitting room all the way in the back, and you'll have to approach the staff for help if its bustling on a Saturday. But the staff really is super helpful and imo, kind. I had specific requirements for my outfit for a wedding (due to a dress code) and honestly, Angees' managed to find my chosen outfit in like 2 mins. I did have to get it altered (because I am painfully short), but they managed to give me a good price for my troubles on top of the very reasonable prices they offer on all outfits. They also have a seamstress that works close by and she too, prices are reasonable for alterations. Overall, if you're indo-carribean and need an Indian outfit on the spot, check out Anjees'!
