The whole process was quick and easy. I have had problems with the painters and roofers. LeafFilter, on time, professional, great quality. I am so pleased they look great. LOL so it's fall and leaves are falling. I look up and see leaves on my new roof...but wait...OMG no leaves on or in the gutters! Score!! So I am going to touch on the other companies, my painter didn't finish his job he tore down my gutters and left them down and we had a week long storm, Josh from LeafFilter called me asking how things are coming along with the house (mind you, we were going to install the gutters after the roofer and painter) anyway, I told Josh how I have no gutters, he sure wasn't happy, but let me tell you he got my new gutters on the next day, before another storm was coming in! We just purchased our first home. The gutters we had were cheap plastic. They leaked water and made for poor visual aesthetics. We had Leaffilter come out and show us what they had to offer. We were presented all options, with colors and pricing. The representative was very knowledgeable, patient and respectful. He answered all of my questions. The work was completed in a timely manner. We now have an excellent water protection around our home. It has a filter to keep out debris. Its very aesthetically pleasing to see. Its as though it came with our home. I highly recommend this company to anyone who want or needs a gutter replacement. The customer service is also very accommodating to any concerns you have. We thought this company was a good company to go with. They were more than will to get these $4,500.00 worth of gutter guards up and get their money. When you need help with the gutter guards after installation...that's a whole different story. They are no no hurry to help. Our appointments were rescheduled 3 times with no regard to our needs or timeline. They do not call you back when messages are left either. It's like pulling teeth to get any kind of help from this company to rectify a problem. If I could, I'd have them take these off of my house and refund my $4,500.00 I don't recommend this company as their customer service SUCKS read more

LeafFilter is GARBAGE - 3 of their technicians came out and each said the LeafFilter gutters were installed incorrectly. I never had any issues prior to the LeafFilter install. The technician arrived on time and was excellent at getting the work done. I do think it is ridiculous that the technicians are no longer allowed to get on the roofs. I understand insurance but you work on ladders and roofs. It made it very difficult for him to reach everything and he had to keep relocating his ladder. Get better insurance or hire better technicians. My only concern was that he was supposed to charge me $95.00 (I think) for a service call he said. The lady who made my appointment also said there may be a charge. I told both of them we went with Leaf Filter not because they were the cheapest by any means but because of their (your) guarantee that we would never have to get on a ladder again. If the gutters overflowed you would stand behind the product. When ours were installed it was noted that we have several trees around our house. Also, a new section of gutter was installed and a downspout was relocated by you. We have recommended Leaf Filter to several friends and neighbors, in fact, one friend went with you and tried several times to tell the salesperson that but the salesperson just moved on. I believe it was if you recommended your company and they purchased from you because of our recommendation, we should have received a $50.00 gift card. Well, the leaves fell this fall and sure enough, I was up on the ladder brushing leaves off the Leaf Filter. Not as messy as cleaning them out, but still, I just turned 60, and going up a 20 foot ladder isn't getting easier. My negative experience was with the agents representing the company. I was at the Overland Park Home Show and the team there was extremely unprofessional and offensive. I was at the booth, about to make an appointment and witnessed one of the staff members walk over to another booth and borderline assault an agent from another company. She loudly called the agent from the other company a slur and when the agent from the other company tried to walk away from the LeafFilter agent, the Leaffilter agent grabbed her by the arm and called her the slur again. I have never seen a grown woman behave that way in public and she was AT WORK. There were several of us that witnessed the event and were staring at each other speechless, some people even went over to check on the agent who was just accosted because it was so violent. The fact that this company allows their agents to behave in such a manner and represent their brand in such a horrible light goes hand in hand with the other negative reviews I have seen from people who have actually been swindled into purchasing their product. Not only did I forgo making my appointment and will never make a purchase from this company, but I will passionately dissuade all my friends and coworkers from doing so either. read more

Leaf filter came to my house and determined I did not need their system. Instead they sold me on a $700 plus scam of realigning, sealing and cleaning the gutters. 6 months later and after a few rains I noticed the mulch and soil washing away from one side of the house. I called leaf filter and setup an appointment for them to unclog the downspout. The supervisor told me that because I didn't get the leaf filter system he would charge me another $700 plus to redo what was done 6 months ago. Supervisor also said that I declined the leaf filter system and we would have to agree to disagree. I probably would of paid $100 for them to come out and unclog the downspout but now I will never consider using them again read more

If I could give zero stars I would. (I see that I'm not the first to say this.). Luckily, I was not asked for any deposit. That would likely have generated a negative stars rating! Here's my sad tale: Despite mediocre ratings related to their installation service, I decided to explore having Leaf Filter install its product at my house. The salesman came to our house and, after his pitch, offered us what he described as a significant discount but told us that we could only get the discount if we signed the contract that day. If he left, we would lose the discount. Despite the hard sell, we decided to purchase the product and signed the agreement on August 8, 2019. Installation was scheduled for September 3, 2019. The installers were supposed to arrive between 8 AM and noon. When they had not arrived by 11:30, I called Leaf Filter and was told that because of a delay at an installation earlier in the day, they would not be able to perform the installation that day. We rescheduled. Again, the installers were to arrive between 8 AM and noon. On the day scheduled for the second attempt, the installers again did not show. I called Leaf Filter and was informed that I was not even on the schedule. We scheduled yet again. In light of the problems we had experienced, I requested that I be first on the schedule. We set the appointment for October 23, 2019. On October 23, 2019, the installer arrived around 9:15. Unfortunately, he did not have the equipment he needed to perform the installation. That equipment was at a job site about an hour's drive away and was broken. The installer informed me that they were trying to fix the equipment and would bring it to the job site as soon as possible. In the meantime, he did not perform any work that he could do without the broken equipment. He proceeded to tell me that he was a contractor and that he wouldn't get paid if he didn't get the job completed. As he continued his lengthy monologue about his problems, I simply turned around and went bad into my house. He later left without telling me and, also without telling me, left job materials in my back yard. I called Leaf Filter one more time. When I told the manager that his installer had left, he told me that the installer said he left because I had been "disrespectful." I told him that I merely walked away from the installer's lengthy harangue and the manager told me that he had had a similar experience with the installer and believed my version. I asked him why, given his experience with the installer, he would give any credibility to the installer's claim. He didn't have an answer. The Leaf Filter manager asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I told him no - let's just cancel. We verbally agreed to cancel. After the call, my wife told me that the installer had left materials in the back yard. I called Leaf Filter once more and told them to come and pick it up. I told the person I spoke to that the contract had been cancelled but their system did not show that. I asked that he have someone call me to confirm the cancellation and to pick up their materials. Long story short, I would never do business with this company again. Needless to say, their installation service is very messed up. And when I called to deal with their failure, I was told that I had been disrespectful. They may have a great product, but I'll never know since they seem to be incapable of scheduling the work. read more

LeafFilter looks like a good (but very expensive) product. Unfortunately, the product is only as good as the local installation crew which in the Kansas City area is absolutely terrible. After ongoing issues with the local crew, I contacted the corporate office twice but the were absolutely no help. Eventually, after a month of promises and failures to begin the project, I send a letter to the corporate and local offices terminating the agreement for non-performance. Don't let a slick presentation fool you or pressure you into making a quick decision. Check the reviews of your LOCAL installer and make sure your agreement has specific dates that the installation will occur. read more

We hired Leaf Filter to clean and seal our gutters. The salesman promised us a 30 year guarantee on the sealant during his 90 minute pitch. When the technician came, he spent less than an hour on a three story home and told us at the end that he didn't actually have to do much, but that everything was taken care of and it was safe to undertake the expensive wood rot and painting repairs. Just a couple days later, the gutters were still visibly clogged and leaking. Another technician came to check it out and agreed that the water was draining too slowly not to be clogged and that water was still leaking from the joints and sections of gutters that were supposed to be sealed. I spent weeks and weeks calling the local and corporate offices to get it resolved, but they refuse. They have acknowledged that they are not experienced with my gutters and that the project is outside their ability, but they refuse to refund the money so that I can hire a competent company that can deliver on their promises. At this point, they are still telling me they're going to keep what amounts to over $1000 per hour of work despite not completing the job. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dishonest company. read more

i though leaf was a good product, tv advisements are completely ball faced lie. the leaf filter sales rep falsely lied to us on contract, our gutters would n work on existing gutter system . here items missed on contract, roof shingle tabs had to be trimmed back roofing company my cost. the gutters were not cleaned, facia board should be added ,on my nickel, installer said existing gutter was as good as leaf filter , existing 5 inch gutter should be replaced, several items major items money was not mentioned were not mentioned would have altered contract price and i would have rejected leaf filter contract. according to tv commercials leaf guard is a great company selling a product, with undertow not mentioned. here is one more item , i have called leaf filter 8 times with no response. i hope that thisi help people from doing business a false hood. i want people to know what to expect when they deal with leaf filter a lot of undertow, i would rate lf on a scale of 5, a negative five. the quote was settled read more

Product was partially installed in May of 2019, however installation was never finished despite repeated calls to the company. Corners and ends of the covers were not sealed, and a downspout location from a high gutter to a lower gutter was not connected properly causing rain to rush of the roof. The product seems to be working well but the customer service response has been extremely poor, especially considering the cost. read more

They will present a nice sales presentation on the front end and then leave you hanging with poor workmanship on the back side after spending alot of money!
