He was very professional, and explained in detail what they were going to do since there was raw sewage damage. Aaron answered all of our questions, and kept in contact with us thro the process. Domingo, the head of the cleaning crew, and his crew did an amazing job, from clearing out and moving items in my basement, to sanitizing the affected areas, to leaving basically no trace of them ever being here. Domingo and crew even went back into the dumpster that my unsalvagable items were put in to find as many He-Man items that they could because a lot of the items can't be replaced, or would cost me a fortune trying to find and repurchase the same items. And best of all, they were able to save my wife's wedding dress from almost 22 years ago. We were very impressed at the level of professionalism that was displayed by everyone, and I would HIGHLY recommend ServiceMaster for someone in a similar situation.

Our home is a new build with brand new carpet. They got all the grease spots perfectly, the problem was they took carpet with them. We ended up with a 1" bald spot on our stairs. We were told by the technicians to contact Jorge and he would take care of it. Jorge immediately had an attitude and was on the defensive about the situation. He blamed our carpet and said the grease ate through the fibers when the grease was only on the top of the carpet and only on a couple fibers, not a 1" circle. He then switched gears and said that the grease spot could have been a paint spot dropped on the carpet by the painters and therefore not his problem because it was never the movers fault. Lastly he blamed my wife for pointing out the spot to the technician. He was rude, interrupting and would raise his voice to outdo me. In the end the moving company did all the negotiating for me and were able to get servicemasters to pay for the step to get replaced. Don't trust them with your carpet or to repair it once it's destroyed.

We went over the design with them and they made very helpful suggestions which improved the results but also avoid potential future drainage issues. This year we had them do landscaping for the front and back yards. In addition to the setting up beds and drip irrigation, they also added underground drainage to the front and back eliminating the long cumbersome downspouts clearing walkways and reducing erosion. All the work was done efficiently per the schedule - even when we made some changes. They even accommodated some changes without adding any cost, e.g. running new drip irrigation under the front walk to reach an isolated bed area and fixing a stepping stone which was placed by another contractor. Probably the best example of their exceptional integrity was when we added retaining wall in the front and received a separate quote which we agreed to. Later we decided to change to a different stone which seemed comparable to our original choice. Without us asking, they automatically updated the final invoice to reduce the price by $300.
