Our crowd of 100 was pretty much all meat eaters but they raved about the food, how flavorful and delicious it was. We also didn't tell our guests it was a vegan meal and no one knew. Someone even asked me why I was eating meat when I ate one of the plant-based meatballs. Highly recommend him for any event. It's so wonderful to have plant-based options that make catering and events more sustainable.

Stephane came to my house before the party, so that I could pour the wine that I wanted to match the appetizers. This allowed us to taste an array of components to see if they would (or would not) pair with the wine. Stephane had to pair 6 cava/prosecco/champagnes (2 "brioche-forward," 2 "citrus-forward," 2 "berry-forward"), 1 white (unoaked chardonnay), 3 reds (aged Napa cab, Spanish fruit-forward, Italian), and an aged port. He was very serious about getting the pairing "right" and was a lot of fun - we had a good time *doing* the pairing! He came to my house and he and his sous chef/helper Fred were like dervishes getting the food prepared out. It was *gorgeous* and *delicious.* Plus they left my kitchen cleaner than they found it! The event was a *raving* success! Stephane will make exactly what *you* want. This trumps any of the other companies or businesses that I myself could find. They weren't willing to be *so* specific or do a "pre-tasting" with the wine. Stephane came to the pre-tasting pretty sure about what would pair with what - but after our tasting, we were able to scratch some appetizers, craft others, etc. - each of us working to our strengths. Stephane cares about making your party an Event in every perfect detail!

The roast was hosted at his lovely home tucked away on a wooded hillside in Fairfax (Amazing view I must say). Dan started off with some basic worldly knowledge about coffee and then got into different roasting techniques, sharing a couple of his passionate stories about coffee along the way (very enthusiastic and knowledgeable). The part most special to me was actually roasting the coffee beans over the open flame. Putting the knowledge I just learned to the test was a very gratifying experience. I look forward to drinking my freshly roasted coffee with my partner at home. At the end they have beginner roasting kits for sale so you can continue your roasting experience and you can even snag some cool merch! Overall the experience was very educational and would highly recommend to coffee enthusiasts or beginners alike! You won't be disappointed.

When you actually calculate the cost of eating out plus groceries it's really not that much more to have nice folks take care of everything. We now have lunches and dinners augmented with some fruits and veggies from Farm Fresh to You, we eat out far less, are on our dietary plan closer to 100% vs closer to 0%, love the food we get and even see Bodhi or Shannon when food is delivered and always have a nice chat. And she does that through food and hand-picked dishes that you will never uncover without a guide. Even though locations may change per tour, our group tasted a mix of cultures and got some stories behind the dishes, the restaurants, and their owners. Few examples - * Russian cuisine - Herring with a pickled onion on fresh bread * Indian street food - I was surprised how much I enjoyed this vegan street snack - I would have never ordered anything without meat, and I dislike spinach, but the fried spinach snack was mind-blowingly good. * Mexican - Quesadilla with plantain. Again, no meat but it was soooooo good. * Chinese - Glazed Pork and pork-filled bun I won't spoil the surprise for some of the other locations. And more, and more - Total of about 7-8 places. You won't stay hungry, guaranteed. The walk itself is not challenging; there are no hills to overcome, even though it's San Francisco. Don't wait - Just go!

Before working with her, I would have prided myself in most of those aspects and my knowledge of them, but she helped me put the pieces together to help them make sense and actually work together. Most importantly, she did it all in a manner that made me stick to these habits. Now, nearly 4 months since my last session, I can proudly say I've kept up with all my goals. I wish I could shout from the rooftops how amazing this woman is! It's also worth mentioning that i live on the opposite side of the country as her so for anyone hesitant to do virtual or phone visits, she made it work, even with the time difference. I am so glad I took the leap and did this for myself because it was the foundation I so desperately needed to build my new "me".
