SETUP The land-line / broadband infrastructure really doesn't exist very well in St. Maries. The best option(s) available are wireless. However, they are - by comparison - pretty pricey. But what other options do you have? Using my AT&T cellular wireless card has a 5 GB monthly cap on it's standard $65 / month plan (however, with my work-discount it's $51). But in any event, I would cap out just on a few days worth of photo uploads. So Gazette's plan is really the only next best thing. PRICING STRUCTURE For syncronized upload/download speeds, the fee-schedule ranges go basically like this: For Residential: * 758KB / 256 KB for $45 / month through... * 3MB / 1 MB for $125 month with range/pricing steps in between For "Business": * 758KB / 758KB for $75 * 3MB / 3MB or $190 again, with range/pricing steps in between What I find offensive about the "business" account is that this plan (and not just this company, but many others) choose to use an EXTREMELY broad definition to include that even if you have a Virtual Private Network (VPN) account that allows you to create a secure portal to log into your offices OUTLOOK email, it will encompass this function as a business account, even just to read email. THE LOWDOWN It is what it is: a decent service, but for more than we want to pay.

We are maxed out on their available speeds. Tech/ service guys are very helpful and nice but even they can not overcome the limitations of their technology. Neighbors just got Verizon's 4g LTE service and have no problems. Looks like we will be going that route. Sorry Air-pipe... we gave you three years to fix the service up here on the Cougar Gulch relay. Three years too long. From their business description, "Perfect for gaming or watching videos online" = total joke. If you enjoy watching 5 to10 sec snippets of a video at a time, this is the internet service for you.

Then they looked and sent me a line of site map to my house but I didn't understand the explanation. I sent it back showing my whole property line and then got these responses. I was really working to be a customer. Should never have to insist they try to help a customer or request courtesy if I misunderstood something or made to feel they don't need me as a customer specifically. Not fighting, we are slammed right now, and Site Surveys aren't a priority, there are so many Kids that need internet right now that My priority is for them, and this is where I stand on this. If you choose to cut your trees that is something that I wouldn't recommend doing unless you have us do a site survey. Info for a Site Survey is: Our Site Survey cost is, 95.00 at the time it is done. At the time we do the actual Install, we charge the full Install fee, 214.00, and then deduct the Site Survey fee 95.00. We keep track of this for you.
