Stopped in while waiting to meet friends and left with a summer linen pork pie, after trying on many other hats just for kicks. Helpful advice about sizing, fashion, and care for my purchase. I'm into hats and this store is exactly what I look for. I have visited hat stores exactly like this in Albuquerque NM and Portland OR and this is the same friendly, fun vibe I have found in those other shops. The person who helped us apologized for her lack of English proficiency but she did just fine understanding what I was looking for and representing her merchandise. Her English is a whole lot better than my Italian! If you're into hats, reluctant to buy cheap garbage from a street vendor, and happen to be spending time in Livorno, or just passing through en route to Pisa or Florence, this is a very worthwhile stop. I will treasure the hat I bought here, and the experience selecting it. Yelp does not appear capable of representing the hours of operation that are somewhat typical in Italy. In general, this store is open 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:30.

It was on the other side of the Ponte Vecchio and a hike from where our bus let us off. We were not disappointed. Olga and Sabine were very helpful with my wife and I and we were impressed with their women's bags, outfits and men's shoes. They did have some beautiful men's jackets but they were more expensive than we were looking for. The one I was in love with was 3000 euros. I caught some shoes on sale for $99 to $129 Euros. Each. They were handmade leather and very comfortable. Sabine even set us up with a table at a nearby restaurant and we were welcomed by the owner. Great experience.
