Also brought home some Banh Gio, which literally translates to "pork leg cake" but don't let the unappetizing name fool you, it is a tasty pyramid-shaped rice dumpling, wrapped in banana leaf, filled with ground pork, onions, minced woodear mushrooms. I've noticed they also sell many other items to go including Cha (Vietnamese sausage), Banh Bao (Vietnamese version of the Chinese steamed buns), Pate So (hot savoury meat pie), Banh Chung (traditional rice cake), Cay Chua (pickled mustard greens), Xoi Vo (sticky rice with mung beans) and many more. New to the spot but backed with years of experience under the belt, this place looks unassuming from the outside as well as inside but they sure do pack up some good items to go - very popular with the local Uni student population!

I placed an order online, and it was great because you can get 15% off. I ordered a x large all dressed beef pho, with tendon, flank, rare beef, tripe, and meatballs. My dining partner got and x large with rare beef and meatballs only. They were the same price, 12.50, which is very very reasonable. We ordered for pickup at 7pm and it was ready on time. I also requested extra garnishes, which were kindly provided. The extra hoisin and sriracha was nice too. The takeout packaging was well done, i appreciated having the large bowl provided so I didn't have to get my own bowls out. The noodles were good, not too soft. And there was a decent amount of beef. I could have used more tendon though. I am taking some stars off though because the bean sprouts did not seem that fresh and the lime wedges were too dry. The pho didn't have enough cilantro, green onion, and onion in my opinion, and the garnishes did not include extra cilantro, and thai basil, sadly. The broth was okay but a bit too oily and lacking some spice, I found. Overall it was by no means a bad meal but I think next time i will seek out my regular places, or try something else new. Give them a try though, they have lots of other things on the menu and the 15% off is a good deal.

The fried beef and chicken are okay, but have no flavour of Vietnamese food. I would rate this dish 2 out of 5 stars. But the pho ga was horrible. it has nothing to do with pho: no flavour whatsoever, it was a mediocre soup, with broccoli, carrot, Napa. And it has two scant pieces of chicken breast. Oh my god. Now I realize that the store has nobody speaking Vietnamese, they are ike ,Philippines. It's a travesty of pho. I would recommend : if you want Vietnamese food, AVOID this place.

Upon coming in, I was quite impressed by how pretty everything was. Snazzy looking purple and rose chairs, beautiful mural and very noticeable effort to make the establishment look nice. I opted for the grilled chicken with steamed veggies in a bed of crispy noodles. The chicken was fresh and well prepared and I enjoyed them a lot! The steam veggies and noddles were marinated in a ragu-like sauce that enhanced the flavor however despite enjoying my plate, I didn't expect it to be so wet and eventually the sauce overwhelming my taste palette (couldn't taste anything else). I'd definitely would like to try out another option on my next visit though. My only complaint is that I'd much prefer to be given a tea option rather than a glass of water. It makes me feel like the resto is more authentic. Service was friendly and about average when it comes to speed. For a lunch option, it's a little tight on the 1 hour time constraint. Price-tag was about average and overall, I left with a positive experience. Very pretty, enjoyable food and service was decent. 3.5 stars rounded down to 3. I'll see if I can bump this up to 4 on my next visit!
