Dessert was also not as good as in the past, the profiteroles puff pastry was likely frozen and harder than I like. The ice cream, chocolate sauce and whipped cream on top were excellent. The waiter offered a half portion of salad, which was perfect. My gazpacho was slightly textured, had hints of garlic, onion, and peppers, and came with mini-croutons. It was perfect on that hot afternoon. But the star of our lunch was the amazing fondue, which was thick and flavorful. We did have to cut up the bread for dipping, and it certainly could have been fresher. There were lots of sparrows trying to get their share of it.
