(9/6/11)
Have used this restaraunt since it opened 6yrs ago. Recently taken over by Head chef and beautiful wife, Yearun Nessa. There has only been a small change to some of the menubut nothing detrimental to the food.
Le Spice still remains my favourite Indian eaterie. Wonderful ambience and relaxed manner of staff and atmosphere.
We have been back several times since my last review (9/6/11) and never been disappointed.
5/10/11 Anniversary night and what a feast!! You surely must visit here.
Lamb Banglore..absolutely superb!!!!, but so are all the other dishes.
Well done, Yearun.
Back soon.
03/12/2011Well, whatever happened? Went back for a Special Birthday party aaaaaand guess what?
Wrong table placement for the second time, wrong number of people, inappropriate remarks by waiting staff re: our dress, being told to keep quiet whilst ordering, wrong food given to guests, generally a miserable experience for me and my guests. I cannot believe how this once efficient. well-run and courteous restaurant has deteriorated. Such a shame. Yearun needs tighter control on staff. Until then I've torn up my loyalty cardit obviously counts for nothing!! Goodbye, Le Spice!! read more
