We have been trying to get into this place the last few times we were in Brighton. Finally we were able to secure a booking! It's a very small, very loud restaurant. The drinks are actually quite tasty and many are, of course, rum based. I had some of the drink specials and it was sugary but tasty. We had the lentil dhal and a Caribbean salad as a starter, both were delicious. For mains, I ordered the Guyanese Pepper Pot, which is a big, oily, spicy stew. It was tasty af, buuuut I would probably split it with someone in the future as it is rich. My husband got the Beanie Bowl which was also tasty. I think I preferred his as it was a bit lighter. Best move is order both and share. read more
