I generally don't give such review comments online as I am very cognizant and respectful to…read morepeople's business and their reputation on a public forum. I am extremely disappointed with the services of Clean Cut folks. It is very easy to write beautiful promotional words to describe how good you are in your business but genuinely it comes only from the customer and the true customer service. I was growing my hair since 3 months and wanted to have a nice haircut. I picked up Clean Cut based on their ad and after going thru all the details they have posted on Yelp. Some insight about my recent experience: - Their business details say, no to appointments. I visited without an appointment and the barber at chair-1, said he can't take me as it I have no appointment and I can wait for the other guy who went for smoke, if he can take me. - The second guy came and he said he can take me and will cut my hair at chair-4. - I explained what I want but my hair was chopped by machine like some unprofessional and novice person is trying to cut hair, who is still at learning stage. My hair length was not what I wanted. The guy used the machine at the first place and my hair was already too short in one shot. Sideburns were untidy with no shape or attention to detail, and overall hair blend between short to medium was uneven throughout. I am not an expert but I can clearly see that it was not done properly. I am not sure how come it was hard for a so called expert to know what's wrong with the haircut and what needs to be fixed. - When chair-4 barber cutting my hair, I saw that the chair-1 Barber took a new customer without an appointment. I couldn't understand why the rule is not common for everyone. - As my hair were screwed, I voiced my concern at the cash counter and then the Barber at chair-1 came and asked me to wait so he can fix my hair. - He wasn't been able to fix my hair 100% and end up cutting them further in the process. I didn't want to go with a military cut thus asked him to stop. My frustration was on my face and I have been asked not to pay. With all due respect and with a gesture of at least trying fixing my hair, I still paid $25 against $23.5 charge. - I left but later I called the shop and left a detailed voice message to speak to the manager or owner. I called again, the very next day in the absence of no call back and I was given the owner's number. I called the owner and left the detailed message to him as well. The owner called back after a few hours and asked me to visit their shop again and meet his best Barber named Zack so he can fix my hair and also returned my money. - Today, I visited again (which is around 16 KMs drive for me) and have my hair fixed (please note - one can fix the wrong cut upto an extent with almost no hair length). Anyways, I am extremely disappointed with the whole experience. Though the owner said that my money will be returned which didn't happen and no one has even offered that at the shop but keeping the money aside no one has shown any apology on what has happened even as a courtesy. I am for sure not going to this place again and won't even recommend it to anyone. Writing rosy content about yourself and showcasing that you are #1 is very easy. It's imperative that one should know the business and be serious about it to maintain longevity and sustainability. Poor customer service, no professionalism, and lack of expertise (I have all pictures with me of their bad job).
