The restaurant is surrounded by trails around Parata tower, which is a local attraction and frequented both by tourists and locals. So by definition the restaurant serves hikers (like me) who want to eat back the calories we just burned on a hike, so attire is pretty casual. The service was good - they have indoor and outdoor (covered) seating. The food was standard French fare - nothing crazy fancy, but very tasty all the same. I got mussels with fries, which was very nice. And then I sat back and enjoyed THAT VIEW!!!!!!! One small note is that I believe their name now is "brasserie sanguinaire". I would totally come here again if I were ever in town. Although most people drive here I think, I took a bus from downtown that lets off nearby - it's quite walkable from that point.
