Skyler is amazing. I was given her services as a gift, and was not at all sure that it was a good gift. It definitely wasn't something I would have gotten for myself, and I felt the purchase was a bit wasteful. Why not just give me a gift card to the stores so I can buy new clothes? Wow, was I wrong. From the start, Skyler opened my eyes to so much I never considered. She didn't just educate and instruct, she inspired! I hate going through my closet and getting rid of clothes, yet I'd filled THREE lawn and garden trash bags with stuff in under an hour! And Skyler took it away and donated it for me, and sent the receipt. I literally had to do nothing except make some decisions. Decisions which were surprisingly easy with Skyler's help. It was fun, stunningly productive and taught me a lot about shopping that I wouldn't have learned unless I did it for a living. Skyler went to the stores the day before the shopping trip and picked everything out ahead of time. WOW. We just met and went right to the dressing rooms and started trying things on! Some of the blouses she'd picked out were downright scary on the hanger, but I trusted her and tried them on and voila! They worked! I was a shocked. Her picks pushed me past my not-very-fashionable limits, and had me taking chances and really getting into it. And the best part - I absolutely love my new wardrobe. I definitely feel more confident about what I'm wearing, and I've had a great time putting my own outfits together with the knowledge that I gained from Skyler. I've known Skyler for awhile and her affinity and talent for creating awesome outfits for herself certainly cannot be denied. That being said, I never knew the way that she could transform other people's wardrobes, even with only the pieces they already have! I first found Le Red Balloon through a Living Social deal. My husband had been hounding me for months to organize our master bedroom closet, which is the size of a small bedroom, making it easy to accumulate (and lose) lots of stuff. Before purchasing Le Red Balloon's 3-hour closet consultation and organization deal, I checked out other Yelp reviews, read through Le Red Balloon's website and gave the owner, Skyler, a call. Skyler was professional and had a great sense of humor, making it easy to quickly develop a positive rapport with her. Skyler visited my home yesterday and went straight to work, sorting, organizing and advising me on things which were better to be loved by someone else. I used to dread finding things in my closet and would end up buying duplicate color shirts, pants, purses, etc. Now my once disheveled closet is extremely well-organized, making it easy to pull together a great looking outfit with ease. BONUS: She helped my husband part with some of his 80s shirts and sweaters which were better suited for Halloween or an ugly Christmas sweater contest, as opposed to a date night or time on the slopes. Can I just say "wow"?! I asked Skyler for help in reinventing my look and boy did she deliver. She had me fill out a questionnaire with my style and personal goals. My family gifted me a three hour session with Skyler for Mother's Day. She came over and in two hours had organized my closet, including accessories, handbags and shoes, she then put together outfits (from my current clothes, including stuff I was going to get rid of) and had me try on a number of ensembles. All of which worked!! The next day we shopped for over an hour and I walked out if the store with probably 20 new outfits! And she did all the leg work!! She got the right style, color, and sizes. Skyler is one of those magnetic people that just draw you to her. She has an amazing ability to pull together large crowds of diverse people to connect, learn, listen and have fun.
