Wandering around the eastern area of Quebec Province we were continually greeted with beautiful seasides, charming little villages, many artists, friendly people and good eating.
In St. Simeon, right along the St. Lawrence River we had to need to feed, so found Le Quevillon along the highway, right at the intersection which leads to the ferry. A cafe restaurant, the no parking signs are somewhat off-putting, but people wanting to ride the ferry regularly try to leave their cars high on the hill rather than pay for parking or for taking them on the ferry.
We understood and were happy to go inside for a homey, casually warm atmosphere of locals who knew a good place to eat.
The menu in like one would find in any coffee shop. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner you will certainly find something you will like. Service was friendly and accurate. The waitress answered our questions, made suggestions and we were happy.
Prices were just fine.
After our meal we went next door to an ice cream shop, so there is that option.
There are not may eateries along the highway, so if you are in the area, please take advantage of Le Quevillon. You might have to drive further than you like to even find another place. read more
