With this establishment it was that i was asking too many questions. But she never gave any indication that she was annoyed. She just stood there and smiled and acted accommodating, then walked into the next room and complained to her dude. I may not be able to hold a conversation in French, but I know enough to know generally what someone is saying about me, especially when they're repeating verbatim something I said. The term we use for this in America is two-faced.
