My husband chose a menu - herring and potato with salad for entree, followed by tuna with rice and salad for mains - and this was quite good. I chose the moules in creme fraiche with parsley, garlic and onion - the sauce was really great but I thought the moules very small and disappointing. (Although to be fair all the moules that we have seen for sale in French fish markets look very small in comparison to the ones we can buy in Australia and New Zealand). The waitress was really good and the prices were very reasonable but I think that this is just a tourist restaurant.

It didn't matter how nice I was being, either I was asking too many questions, I made a mistake of perception, or I botched my French. With this establishment it was that i was asking too many questions. But she never gave any indication that she was annoyed. She just stood there and smiled and acted accommodating, then walked into the next room and complained to her dude. I may not be able to hold a conversation in French, but I know enough to know generally what someone is saying about me, especially when they're repeating verbatim something I said. The term we use for this in America is two-faced.
