First time here in Paris and was craving a hot soup to warm up in this cold rainy weather.
I decided to stop by here due to the moderate reviews and the pictures looked decent.
But, now I regret it! A million times!
To start off, they don't speak English and it's hard for them to translate. So I had a really nice young lady help me, who was also dinning in.
She translated I wanted a simple chicken noodle soup. Which is what I got...
The soup was warm but HAD ABSOLUTELY NO TASTE! It was just hot water, chicken chunks and chopped green onions.
Also the chicken had chunks of chicken FAT on it... not very appetizing when looking at it. I barely had 2 scoops of it and gave it back to them. I was not going to eat something I did not like.
Later they were nice enough to bring me a plate of some sort of spicy chicken with sautéed green & red peppers; as a courtesy, since I returned the soup. Everything was 20 euros including a pot of hot tea. The only reason why I'm leaving a comment is because of the courtesy they had.
Definitely will not be coming back! And if you speak English, make sure Someone in your party speaks French or Chinese fluently. They will not assist and other people around are very to themselves and don't want to provide help. I'm leaving Paris with a bitter taste, not what I wanted at all... read more
