The owner is a happy French lady. Always smiles! Which adds to the ease of enjoying a drink there. They allow outside food from a bakery, etc as they really don't offer such foods. They have toys to children about age 3 and below. You can get your drink to go if you wish. You can buy beans and loose leaf tea too.

Nook is a very cozy place, a couple of small tables and one big communal table where many people work on their MacBooks here. Of course there l's free high speed wifi. Super highly recommended!

We saw a little sign by the Hôtel Mignon advertising Café Mignon. There are a few tables inside, but the place to go on a warm summer morning is around the corner, where there are three little tables in the shaded alley. There were a mother and daughter (I'm guessing) working there. The daughter speaks amazingly good English, and she was the main person we worked with. They offer a complete brunch for €12. This includes salad (lettuce and tomato) with ham and cheese, an egg, a bowl of fruit (apricots were in season), homemade applesauce or yogurt (your choice), pastries, bread and jam. Oh, and also fruit juice and a hot drink (coffee, tea, chocolate). For twelve euros! This was amazing. All of the food was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect - quiet and cool and out of the way. The people were so friendly, and from the way she talked I think the daughter made the applesauce and yogurt herself and was pleased to see us enjoying them so much. We have one more day coming up in Avignon, and I am very tempted to return to Café Mignon. What a lovely place! It lives up to its name.

The waiter was very attentive and patient of my poor French, offered to bring out a small plate for our one year old when it was obvious we were sharing with her. Ordered a plain omelette, and a penne with pesto and penne carbonara. All lovely, and great sized portions. Would definitely recommend.
