There were so many good options, we didn't want to choose wrong! The decor is very nice and chairs are super comfortable. Complimentary wasabi peanuts. So good! They have a large drink and wine list. We got a bottle of Shiraz (only thing here I wasn't too crazy about, but not bad). I ordered the Edamame Black Truffle Dumplings as an app and my husband got the Kung Pao Dumplings. We both agreed they were AMAZING. So clean and light, while still filling. 5 large pieces each! The sauces were tasty too. For dinner, I chose the Shrimp Pad Thai and my husband the Sweet & Sour Chicken. The Pad Thai was super tasty and again not too heavy and overly oily. The shrimp was fresh. My husband loved his chicken dish. So different! Lightly fried as one piece instead of chunks with the fresh toppings on top. We also got hot sauce! Overall amazing!!! Worth the price and received 30% off on The Fork!

I think Nobu restaurants serve 8/10 in quality. This place is 9/10. I'm a tough critic!) Worth every penny if you appreciate great sushi. For dinner, menu seemed limited to predetermined sets vs. ordering a la carte sushi (but to be fair, I also didn't try). I ordered Kifune Lavant which comes with 8 Sushi + a tuna maki. I accidentally ordered a California Maki on top because I thought I was choosing the maki type w/ my set. Even though I was stuffed, I don't regret the add on because it was an very good (and a unique size) California Roll! I'm debating on going back there 2 days in a row.

If you are in paris in the area and want an excellent asian experience you will not want to miss this find. Upscale but friendly the food is fantastic and the menu extensive. Including fairs from china, japan, vietnam and thailand. Though i would dare to say Thai is most heavily represented. We started w dim sum and the sauces were to die for. The dumplings were slightly gooey but tastey. Next came the duck, steamed fish curry, and sweet and sour shrimp. All incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked.. The staff was far from french, warm and engaging and attentive but intrusive. So why not five stars? not bc of the restaurant, food or staff, which were five stars undoubtedly. But for the 12, yes 12, in a closet sized bathroom, air fresheners of various types spewing chemicals on you as you use the bano. It was disruptive to my almost perfect experience to say the least. So my advice, use the bathroom before you enter the restaurant and enjoy an amazing experience. Don't miss the steamed fish or the wine list.

Mais je devrai y retourner bientôt. / I stopped in for a quick lunch and was seated in one of probably six different dining rooms, all with extensive decor. The servers were quick and efficient. It was unfortunate that all the servers, except the sommelier, were required to wear name tags. The roasted duck was very good. I found the Dim Sum menu was a bit smaller than I was expecting, but each taste was very good. And I was further surprised when the server placed salt and pepper on the table prior to the langoustine wonton soup. I believe that doing so changes the chef's design. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, such a disappointment…read more Cantonese cuisine isn't my favorite, not even in my top five, but my wife loves it, so I took her here for her birthday. Let's start with the positives. The hotel is stunning and the restaurant is as well. They're also very flexible with reservations, so that cuts down on stress. The best parts of my meal were the complimentary appetizer of fried eggplant and candied walnuts, and the dessert, a sort of pudding made from mango and another fruit I don't recall the name of. Now to the downsides. I got their new fashioned cocktail, the spinach soup, and a tofu dish. The first was fine, if unremarkable, the second was bland, and the third was okay. But it wasn't just the flavor, the portions were also very small. And look, I get it, in any kind of haut dining, one can expect the portions to be small, but at this price? Which leads me to the cost. Through the roof. I believe my cocktail alone was about 20€, and hey, had it been the greatest old-fashioned-like drink I'd ever had, the price may have been warranted, but it wasn't. Everything on the menu is at least as much, but most dishes float around the 50€ area, with some individual dishes reaching nearly 100€. For the flavor and the portions, that's astronomical. But the final straw was the slow service. While getting our free appetizers and ordered ones didn't take that long, to be even asked if we were having dessert took at least ten minutes (I'm being very generous), but to actually be served our dessert once ordered? No less than half an hour. I don't know how long it actually takes to mash up some mango and scoop out some ice cream, but it can't possibly require that much precise skill. We were waiting so long that I was tempted to ask if they'd forgotten we'd ordered. The final insult was, after we'd paid and I'd gotten our coats, while I waited for my wife, the waiter made it very clear to me that he wanted me to leave into the hotel lobby. So let me get this straight. I hand you guys hundreds of euros for a tasteless, microscopic meal and the worst wait times I can remember and I can't wait for my wife inside the restaurant out of everyone's way? If you're a die-hard fan of Cantonese cuisine... go anywhere else.
