This place was very pricey - we came for breakfast and got 2 baguettes + butter and 2 croissants. I'm not sure if we got tourist-taxed, but the total price was 9.20€! Given each baguette on the counter was only 1.1€ it did not make sense how expensive it was.
I'm pretty sure we only got one baguette as well - it was 8 short segments of bread, and compared to the size of baguettes on the counter it was definitely not a quarter per piece.
When we were charged I asked for a receipt to see where the cost was but it was not itemized. Instead, it just said 2xbreakfasts (petit-dejeuner).
Taste of the bread and butter was pretty good but it didn't blow my mind or anything. read more
