This place is awesome! Awesome for coffee, awesome for breakfast, awesome for lunch. Parents take note: there is a high chair and a changing table here. (I know, right??)
I popped in for a cappuccino and was absolutely taken with the lunch they were prepping, the awesome looking menu, and the friendliness of the employees. (They all made friends with my one-year-old.) So I came back to grab lunch to go!
The coffee was good but the food was the best part for me. They had several vegetarian options. I went with the lentil salad sandwich (think chicken salad but with lentils) with spinach, parmesan, and walnuts on sliced, toasted bread; a rice salad with white & wild rice, spinach, feta, pomegranate seeds, and toasted walnuts; fruit salad of apple, banana, orange, kiwi, and pomegranate; and a drink (a Luscombe Wild Elderflower Bubbly from England). Everything was fresh and flavorful and filling. This lunch (1/2 sandwich, small salad, drink, and dessert) cost me 12€.
The employees all spoke English and French and were not at all turned off by my mix of the two languages. In fact, they did the same and we got along great. They were incredibly friendly and helpful.
It's a pretty small place, as is the case for most little shops here, but it's very clean with several tables and comfy places to sit, as well as free wifi. I like it! I'll be back! read more
