It's very traditional and everything here is extremely organised and regimented. The skilled and friendly staff measure all the customers with an old fashioned measuring tape to ensure everyone gets the perfect size. Inside it's not the most glamorous and the colour scheme is a rather dull brown colour which isn't the most inviting, but that doesn't detract from the quality service here as Campbells are excellent at what they do and that is why they have been in business for as long as they have.

This is my second encounter with the very unhelpful female assistant. My first in-store enquiry was met with a standoffish manner and lack of interest in helping the only customer in the store. I have contacted them via email, via their contact us app on their website and tried several times to call, the phone either rings out or is engaged. When I finally got through to request a refund as it was after school had started and I had to find an alternative uniform supplier, I was told it would be processed, I am still waiting. Their website boasts they help reduce the stress associated with school uniform shopping but in fact they have created so much more. I have not received my goods nor any communication from them to tell me whether or not they are still planning to send me them or if they are giving me my refund. It is a disgraceful way to run a business, I will never be using them again and will be contacting bank to help with getting a refund as it doesn't look like the company will be honouring their word!

Initially I thought the Hoodie Stop was just a nice wee gift shop in De Courcy's Arcade, but after…read morea bit of a chat I discovered they also do personalisation of hoodies, tote bags, hats etc, meaning you can get them printed or embroidered with your own designs. Inspiration struck, and with the recent introduction of the 5p bag charge in shops, I really wanted to grab a bunch of tote bags and have them customised. It was super easy to arrange - I popped in store to check out the available bags, and emailed through the design. Communication was great, KJ kept me up to speed the whole time and let me know that the design needed tweeking to make sure it looked really good. The finished bags looked really slick and exceeded my expectations, and were ready to collect in store. I love any excuse for a browse of their stock as there's loads of nice gifts as well - tshirts, purses, handbags, and of course, hoodies. Well worth a visit if you're looking for a gift as you could get something really personal made up for someone.

I've been following them for a wee while on Twitter and have loved the photos of things they've put up, especially their Glasgow-themed products, of course! The other week I saw that they were having a sale and there was the most lovely pink satchel (down from £20-15, bargain!) which I assumed would have sold really quickly cause I couldn't make it in at the time, but when I went in at the weekend, BOOM, there it was! So OBVIOUSLY I had to buy it, it was totally fate and I absolutely love it! (I realise there may have been more than one but please leave me with my fate illusions, if you will...) I also got some birthday presents for my cousin - an I love G33 badge (her neck of the woods, Yelp won't let me type a heart!) and a wee giraffe tea light holder which is just the cutest! She loves giraffes so when I saw it I had to get it! Their prices are definitely very reasonable as well, which is a bonus. They offer a t-shirt and hoodie printing service, as the name would suggest, which I've yet to try - but I've been pretty impressed with what I've seen them do, so if I'm ever needing something like that done I'll be sure to check them out. It's definitely somewhere I'll come back to when I'm looking for interesting gifts or just for a wee nosey about when I'm in the area, the people who run it seemed really friendly and nice too :) A great wee addition to Cresswell Lane!

The first thing that struck me about the shop road was just how organised it is. Rows and rows of all the local school uniforms line the right hand side of the shop, while the left hand side is stocked with all the sports equipment a budding athlete could ever want. Indeed, all the sports equipment those who were forced to do P.E. (like me) could ever want too. It was also really well staffed. At least four friendly helpful people were present and only too happy to assist. I can't think of a good reason to get school uniforms from anywhere else.

However Clan House do not make that easy. A quick internet search gave all the info on Aitken and Niven prices however with Clan house you can not even see the uniform unless you email register - not a quick email account and password set up - oh no - the full bhuna. Child's name, date of birth, inside leg measurement, chest measurement, neck........... You get the picture and unfortunately i jest not. All i wanted was a quick look see. Clearly all useful info if i want to buy - but not to have an option to bypass this just to look? Why not? Makes me suspicious i am afraid as certainly not helpful to me a prospective customer - are they enhancing their revenue by getting details and selling on? I wonder. Certainly not got the customer in mind.
