I guess this place was called lee major before. Now it's called Saint Nicholas brasserie. The food here is on point! They have a chef from morroco (saiid) who doesn't shy from spices.
We had the garlic shrimp and it was great!! The shrimp was clean and I didn't need to dirty my hands! Yay all
Around.
My husband had the rib steak, and I had no idea what to expect and what he was expecting wasn't what he got at all, it was better. It was like a ribeye steak, that was super Soft and cooked to perfection.
I had the sea bass and it was very flavorful and crispy.
Our waiter was very sweet , but not very attentive, nor did he offer any explanation of food, specials etc. I asked about a wine he recommended and whether it was sweet, dry or whatever and he said he didn't know. ???
Aside from his lack of experience or training, he was very sweet.
The owner son, Dmitry was a treat. Super nice, and funny. We would go back if ever in the area for the garlic shrimp alone!! So good.
The decor you could tell was nice at one point, but they aren't keeping up with the repairs, case an point a huge framed mirror over the bar, only had half. It looked like the other half fell off and they never replaced. Little things like that, but it's not so bad it would steer you from going or ruining your experience. read more
