He set the mood immediately with candles and a selection of French music- we chose Barbara...smooth French singer. Oh how soothing. The wine he choose for us - deep, red, regional. The food, fresh, high quality and with flexible options between the 8 requests to make each crepe unique. Delicious. This dining experience will be in my memories as a truly shared experience with Ludvic as the supreme host and chef.

We had the 28 Euro menu and found 3 of our items were not fresh, but frozen and heated. The chocolate tart dessert was industrially made. The service was very slow. It was very disappointing experience considering we paid over 100 Euros for 3 people for lunch. In summary, the Trattoria in Autun is very much a tourist trap, avoid at all costs. There are much better options.
