From the second we walked in, the experience was top-notch. The hostess, Cynthia, greeted us with such a warm smile and sat us right away with the most stunning ocean view. The scenery was honestly breathtaking, it felt like something out of a movie! We ordered the Tomahawk steak and lobster tails, and wow, they were both cooked to absolute perfection. The steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, and the lobster was buttery and delicious. Easily one of the best meals we've ever had on vacation Our servers, Jonathan and Erick, were absolutely incredible. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel so special the whole night. Their service alone made the dinner worth the trip. Between the views, the atmosphere, and the outstanding service, Le Kliff completely exceeded our expectations. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we've had in Puerto Vallarta. Can't wait to come back!

If you're looking for a place with amazing vibes and great photo opportunities, this is the spot. Came here from a recommendation from a friend, not only is this place beautiful but they really go out of their way to make you feel special. The night we went someone actually gotten engaged and they went all out on the decorating and planning.(kinda jealous). The drinks were amazing. I had the passionfruit margarita first and then the cucumber margarita after. If I could drink the cucumber, margarita by the gallon, I would. I highly recommend going around sunset the view was unbelievable. Now to the food. I ordered the steak and it was amazing. Delicious. We ordered the passion crème brûlée for dessert. That was not pretty to look at, but it was so amazing to eat! You will have to take an Uber to get here, if you're not driving, but you don't need to worry about getting an Uber back because the restaurant will call you a cab/ have cabs waiting for when you're done with dinner.

The most delicious meal : wood fire shrimp

We had high expectations for Le Kliff based on the reviews and our taxi driver recommendation. They were undergoing reconstruction, which was not apart of the reason for the rating, it's just something to note. We were coming from Villa Lala, a boutique hotel 5min walking distance from Le Kliff. Our concierge was able to make the reservation for us that day at 6p, which was great. Service: At Le Kill, the service was most attentive, but I would say too much. Because of the limited balconies open, they had about 10+ waiters for 3-4 tables (ranging in 2-6 people per table. For a two person table, it felt like you were being watched. Food: The food was good. We ordered the meat tapas, catch of the day, wood fire shrimp, and dessert of the apple tart. They never explained what the tapas were once arrived, but all were good. There was a Taquito-like one, and a taco ones. The were two other that I don't even know the names. The catch of the day was a red snapper fish covered with pistachios with passion fruit sauce. As much as I wanted to like it, it was just ok. However, what has me day dreaming is the wood fire shrimp and the apple tart. The shrimp were just great from massive in size to great flavor. The apple tart was a new item swapped on the menu. Oh, so good. Drinks: they definitely push the "expensive" home tequila drinks. My husband got the cucumber margarita based on the reviews being so positive (which had the house tequila), but it was standard. I got the mango margarita - standard. Nothing above average. I actually think the drinks at Villi Lala are better and cheaper. Payment: they accept credit cards or cash. Easy enough either way. We did credit cards they asked us what percentage to add on to the bill, so it was added immediately. Attire: although they say no flip flops, sleeveless shirts, etc, most people came in their vacation attire. I'm sure they wanted people in nicer attire, but between vacation and weather being humid, I wouldn't expect it. We came in vacation wear. Me in a tank top dress with slip ons, and my husband in a cotton shirt, shorts and closed toe shoes. Weather: because it's raining season, there were these bugs that were attracted to the palm trees. Insane amounts. There was one couple that left after getting seated because it was too much. The waiters did what they could for it with using fans blowing on everyone. Otherwise, weather was overcast - not apart of the overall rating, just for reference. Location: the view is great. You're overlooking the ocean and have Mountain View's. It's fun to see the boats coming in and out. We were positioned in the back, since they out the large parties towards the water view. Overall, eating a 3/5 since it was just standard. For the price and reviews seen, I was thinking it was going to be higher/above average.

Food was amazing- service even better. We were in PVR for my husbands 50th birthday and I made reservations for his birthday at Le Kliff - the views are stunning ... the service was top notch, food was all delicious and the price was great for service, view, venue I recommend this restaurant to everyone!! It's my favorite PVR restaurant, I booked online reservations for 630pm and saw the sunset - the staff helped take picture of us. Entire diner was the best!! My husband was sang to for HBD, was given a balloon and special dessert.

Entrance nice

A great experience food 7/10 drinks are very good service was amazing luis was our server and did a great job the views from any angle was unreal a really beautiful place my only complaint is about the bathroom situation you need to ho up and down many levels to go and you just can imagine of you have couple drinks. That's my only concern and i will go again for the experience.

Salmon. Delicious!

Serrano cucumber margarita with mezcal !

This place was absolutely beautiful. Definitely worth every picture. The food was delicious but I will say when it came to service they really try to push the most expensive things without trying to understand your preferences. When asking about different types of alcohol, they seem to be focus more on the more higher end and when suggesting to get some thing a bit less expensive, they make you feel as if your choices are wrong and try to push other spirits instead of what you want. I'm all about enjoying a good tequila but not when it's mix . So in a preference of a margarita I don't need to spend $65 on a mix cocktail.

If you're in puerto Vallarta this restaurant is a must!!! The food, drinks & ambiance is AMAZING. Ask for the dream team Juan, Nacata & Miriam! They will make your experience even better!

Wonderful restaurant! The food is pricey, but the service and food is delicious. The presentation is also beautiful as well as the property.

Mi Ranchito is part of the growing shoreline in the small village of Boca de Tomatlán at the mouth of an inlet roughly 10 miles south of downtown Puerto Vallarta. Construction was busy in several newish places as we walked from the parking area to the restaurant which sits right on the water. We stopped here for lunch as part of an ATV tour. The cafe is open air and covered, benefiting from a cool breeze blowing in off the pacific. Inside is comfortable, with sand for a floor that feels nice on bare feet. The menu is standard. We ordered ceviche, which came as a very large portion. The Mexican salsa, a tomato, jalapeño, and onion mixture common in this area, was spicier than others we've had. One of our party ordered the Pineapple Surprise, a drink that is served inside a carved pineapple, with a face made of fruit and toothpicks on the front. It was definitely a crowdpleaser. Other dishes we tried were octopus- based and rated fine to not so good. My only minor gripe is the table server used her rapport with us to hit us with a sales pitch for necklaces made of whale bones and shells. Her prices were high and, as always here, negotiating tactics were strong. I typically just wave the vendors off cuz they seem to get pissy if you take an interest then decide not to buy. I'd rather not mix that dynamic with table service. Other than that, three stars for Mi Ranchito. And I expect this area will likely grow in the coming years to have some better competition. The location is great!

We took a 20 minute Uber ride to have a beach day outside of zona Romantica where we were staying. We decided to leave because we were hungry and realized that one of the restaurants we bookmarked was just a 10 minute walk and decided to check it out. We were there celebrating a special birthday so we wanted to have one nice dinner and this is the place we chose. We got there around 5 PM and we were the only ones there on a Saturday but it was off-season (Aug) so PV in general was pretty quiet. We were welcome by a friendly man who took us to the top floor with a mountain beautiful view which actually was a nice change from the ocean. The greenery was beautiful. This restaurant is known for their seafood and boy was it fresh. They don't have a specific menu, but rather they bring out a tray of their fresh selection of the day. Everything was beautiful and the shrimp was gigantic. We opted for the red snapper, lobster and the large shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. Oh, and I have to make a point of mentioning their margaritas. Fresh fruit margaritas... So yummy. We tried the mango margarita with fresh mangoes and strawberry margarita as well. I just love drinks made with fresh fruits. I think it was my favorite margarita of the entire trip. I do highly recommend you check this place out. The food is phenomenal and the service is wonderful. The 20 minute Uber ride cost about US$15 so well worth it, especially if you do a beach day and make a day of it.

I have since returned many times and I feel like an updated review is important because this is one of the best restaurants that I have ever eaten at across the globe for authentic Mexican cuisine, especially Mariscos. The atmosphere is local, authentic, quaint, and welcoming. Abuela can be seen in the kitchen hand making the tortillas so you know it's gonna be an amazing experience. The seafood is fresh and the food comes with a platter of sauces and pico de gallo and hot peppers that complement whatever dish you may order. The prices are fair and quite inexpensive when compared to prices back in the United States. There is a view during the day and at night, festive lights, set the tone for a magical evening. In addition to taking a little boat to the restaurant, which of course is part of its charm, there is a ladder where you have to get off a rocking boat and climb to the dock. I went there 12 years ago and I can't say that I was bothered by that a bit. But I went back last year and I found it extremely difficult and it was even harder to get back on the boat. Some folks that were older than me and less mobile were really really struggling so make sure you feel like you have the physical capacity to climb up a short ladder to get on the dock. Also, the only restroom is up or rather steep flight of stairs The highlight for me is the location which is spectacular and the little beach that you can take the path to after your lunch. Absolutely worth it but allow time because the last boat leaves around three.

Two of our party dropped out and I was worried they worked charge us for that, but they didn't. It was a quick water taxi trip over, about 5-10 min. The view was so beautiful as the place was perched up on the cliff side. I got the Alpastor grilled octopus . It was delicious. My husband got the catch of the day which was Mahi Mahi. He said it was the best Mahi Mahi he had ever had. Compliments to the chef and the freshness. The toilet above the restaurant does not have a door or walls, really, but has a great view of ocean. We decided to work off our lunch and hiked back to Boca. It was a fun hike. Steep uphills and down hills. A bit rough terrain but stuff you could hold onto in case you need the help. Be sure to wear sneakers, not flip flops (unless you're 20 and agile). It took us an hour, but I think if we were 40 years younger we could have done it in 35-45 minutes. We enjoyed our adventure and note have a great place to explore some more!!
