The USA Canadian Border bridge is far too expensive. The singular toll is $9. The bridge card is $72. In the past the bridge toll cards cost about $25. That made it do able to cross the border. That's gone now, and I miss it too. read more

One of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to. Everything is fresh made in-house and is full of flavour. The beef Szechwan is my favourite with seared meat, vegetables and noodles stir-fried to perfection. The egg rolls, crab/cream cheese wontons and chicken balls are also stuffed full and full of flavour. Friendly family run restaurant that also delivers almost whenever you need. read more

For the area and for what it is, it's not bad. The food on the buffet is plentiful if not terribly diverse. The staples are fried chicken balls with optional cherry sauce, a neon-pink pork dish, a spicy chicken dish, pan-fried noodles, egg rolls, cream cheese rangoons, and white and fried rice. I've never ordered off the menu, though my mother did one time when she was in town, and she liked her dish. (I can't remember what she ordered, but it was something without any meat.) Service is generally attentive and the buffet is a good deal especially at lunch. I've never had any problems with cleanliness, though the decor and dinginess of the interior could use a serious update. read more
