Soft interior with the right amount of powdered sugar on top. Forget about the ones in New Orleans. You have to come here. The waffles? Oh so delightful. Crispy on the outside and delicate fluff on the inside. Even better than the ones in the Grand Place in Brussels. Although my family likes another place for ice cream better, this is my favorite in Koksijde. The right amount of cream and well flavored with more bits inside. So it's not a dining locale. Don't come here because you think you'll get fine food. It's fried, Belgian style. Maybe a quick bite at lunch. But for gouter or after dinner tasting, it's worth the trip.

There are only a couple of tables out the front, but then again the view out the front isn't all that fantastic (it is of a supermarket, so the only people who land up out there happen to be the smokers). Anyway, the inside is pretty cool, quite atmospheric actually, and they also play some pretty decent tunes. I wouldn't suggest that it is hugely crowded but since I was there on a Sunday that was probably the reason. Still, if you like your hard rock then this is a pretty decent place to go.
