A small, friendly restaurant just off the main square in St Omer, with a good selection of…read morereasonable fixed-price menus, at EUR15, EUR24 and EUR31. Mostly traditional French cuisine, using local ingredients where possible: fish predominates, but there are plenty of meat alternatives. We had six pretty perfect meals there.
As you'd expect, the wine list is also good, and don't miss the cheese-board: it is included in the EUR24 and EUR31 menus, otherwise a EUR7 supplement a la carte. There were over a dozen choices, and they were happy for us to sample five or six each.
Expect to pay around EUR30-40 a head for four courses with wine and coffee.
