I fell for a tourist trap and I could not be more disappointed. This place appeared very busy as we were walking to find a place to eat in Nice. We arrived late from the airport and learned that much of the area we were in closed for dinner around 10pm. Our first choice had a massive line of people waiting to be seated, so we doubled back and ate at this place. From the outside the ambiance is cute and they have a lot of seating. The menu is large, but not so big that it's overwhelming. The wine is decently priced and the food didn't seem too expensive so we decided to stay. I honestly would say that staying was a terrible mistake. The pasta was awful. My friends both got linguini and clams and I got the seafood pasta. While both dishes smelled good, they were very bland and difficult to eat due to the amount of sand in the dish. Based on appearance it seems like these dishes give you a lot of clams. Unfortunately, half of them were empty and the ones that weren't were covered in sand and grime. As you can see in the photo there is literally sand and a small shell in the clam which tells me they cleaned nothing. We left very upset and disappointed in the meal. Terrible service. Rude staff. Pizza came one hour and 20 minutes late, and the arrogant manager did not even want to apologize. His words were basically " if you don't want the pizza you can get out!!" When I ask for at least the beer to be compensated, he grabbed by my shoulders and got really aggressive with me. Le Flore is my go- to lunch spot. The wait staff was excellent and welcoming. Our server, Mounir, suggested the best nicoise salad and made sure that there were no anchovies; I have a food allergy. He even accommodated the menu for my teenager who can be a picky eater. During lunch, I enjoyed watching the coming and goings of the people working at the adjacent flower market stand. At night, the vibe is more lively. There is great live music. read more

Sorry to say but this restaurant was way below average. It had bad food, bad service, and an all around bad vibe.

Good central location - kinda hectic though with the farmers market right behind you. The food is decent. The first guy we dealt with was very rude but our server was nice and helpful. Don't sit in the small square tables if you want to order from the full menu. The small square tables are only able to order from the more limited "snack" menu. That menu is on a sandwich board in front of the entrance. The pizza was definitely not the best in Nice, nor was the seafood spaghetti. But it was pretty good for the relatively low price. This place is conveniently located a block off of the beach which is great access to the beach and the shopping, but unfortunately makes it a bit touristy. The food however was good, and the service was notably good. If you're walking the beach or shopping in the area, this is a good place to stop for dinner. read more

My family and I went out to Le Flore this evening. Right away they Leward us in with their amazing service. My mother and I both got muscles of both flavors. After I got my food I notice that there we're almost no muscles in my plate. The ones that were in my plate were very small and served cold. The sauce was watery and salty. The muscles were served with cold thin fries ( you can get better at McDonald's.) After we got done with are meals I couldn't even here my mother speak from the loud band playing. The band was loud and obnoxious. It was dramatically overpriced. Frankly this is a tourist trap and we will not be returning. read more

This place was great. Stopped by for lunch while in Nice. The carbonara was OK. I thought the sauce was a bit over pasty. None the less, the stuffed mussels were to die for ! Overall, everything had good flavor and the server was friendly and helpful. read more

Probably one of the better Brasseries in the Cours Saleya / Marche aux Fleurs area, with seating in the central courtyard area as well as inside and outside the property. Menu is largely predictable for Nice (a mixture of French and Italian influences), but service is good and my filet steak was one of the best I've had in recent years. read more

Based on other reviews, I think you are safe if you come here for breakfast. This place is packed with people on a sunny day as it borders the marketplace where vendors sell different hobby trinkets and historical family artifacts. Yes, it is a tourist spot, but we did also see a lot of French people who may or may not be locals. Most people were enjoying an espresso or wine with chips. This is the first time that my husband and I have seen so many people enjoying a glass of wine with chips together at 9am. It definitely gave off a European/French vibe. :) This was our first breakfast in Nice and we didn't know where to go, so we just chose the busiest spot near the place we were staying at. We chose a small table outside and soon realized this was a mistake because we each ordered the breakfast special and chose the American version because for 2 euros more you received 3 strips of fresh bacon, 2 sunny side up eggs and 3 pieces of cottage cheese. The total was 10 euros inclusive of a loaf of bread, 1 chocolate croissant (mine accidentally had 2) and a regular croissant, a cafe lait , orange juice, fruit and the other above listed things. It was a lot of of food for a reasonable price! It was nice people watching, but we did feel a bit rushed because they were so busy and there weren't many tables outside left. The place would have deserved a 5 if the service had been better. The waiter was a bit rude and abrupt. When we asked for water, he didn't bring it and when we asked again, he waved us quickly off and came back with it. There were a lot of people standing around while 2 waiters mainly worked. Our lunch was Delish and I particularly enjoyed the location and definitively my mojitos, snails and beef tartare. It's pricey as our bill for 2 was 80 euros. I was severely disappointed at the end of the meal and it's the primary reason for the review. When reviewing the bill, I noticed an extra main charged for 29euros and I have the distinct feeling they did it on purpose. If you are a tourist, I do not recommend this place unless you pay some attention. read more
