Great food, amazing location and an affordable price for a quality restaurant in a ski resort.
I went there with a couple while we were skiing in the nearby Les Rousses ski resort. Conveniently located on the slope, it is easy to access and is well-adapted to people adorning skiing boots.
For the drinks, we had a "pichet" of red, that was both affordable and good wine (we're in France after all - duh) as well as a local beer. While the wine was good, the local beer was a bit watery and left to be desired.
For the main dish, we got a chicken and a pair of steaks with their morels sauce. Both were absolutely amazing and the steaks were high-quality meat, that I ate cooked "blue".
Since we were already there, we grabbed some deserts and coffee. While the coffee was not amazing (slightly over-roasted), the deserts in themselves were absolutely mind-blowing, especially their made-in-house pear pie. The blueberry pie and crêpe with chestnuts were pretty darn good as well - don't get me wrong.
Overall, for the entire meal, we paid slightly over 30 euros per person, which was absolutely impressive for a restaurant of that quality and located inside a skiing station, especially given we went with mostly the most expensive options food-wise. Can't wait to come back there again and can't recommend this place enough! read more
