The chef himself even pitched in with helping serve, totally in sync with the owner. These two amazing guys totally changed my and my wife's perspective about how other restaurants are run - especially when tipping here is more of a courtesy and in the states many restaurants just add 18% on to your bill for gratuity regardless of the service you got. I left the owner just 10 euros and he was so thankful and graciously declined but promised he'd give it to the kitchen staff when we insisted that we just had to appreciate them with a tip. Happily, I found it after walking past several other seafood places along the boulevard. I was early for dinner by local standards, so luckily I was seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and helpful even though my French is somewhat lacking. I was seated near a couple of locals who eat here every Saturday night for their Scallop special. It was an excellent suggestion: fresh pan fried Scallops over an amazing Risotto. The baguette and butter was so fresh and delicious - I miss it already!

I highly recommend the Mussels and Sea bass. The oysters are delicious as well either cold or grilled (grilled pictured). This is definitely a tourist spot and a local hangout. The restaurant was extremely busy from the time I arrived up until my departure. Although, you'll encounter long lines, the wait time is minimal due to the efficiency of the servers busing tables. The servers are gracious, friendly and very welcoming, which, made my dining experience exceptional. This spot will definitely be my go to upon my return to Cannes.

The menu online referenced on this Yelp page may have a bit of a price difference (the restaurant itself is a few Euros more for the pre fixed menu. Everything else looks pretty much the same). The menu was also majority French, but our server was kind and tried to explain everything in English to the best of his ability! What a fantastic place to enjoy the Mediterranean views while enjoying some fine wine. The wait staff was very nice and quick to make our visit one to remember. He was actually very funny!
