Before boarding our ferry to head back to Sorrento, we stopped here for some treats. I headed right to the pastry counter to get a sfogiatell, my favorite pastry and in Southern Italy you can find them everywhere. Lucky me! The shell was crispy and the ricotta inside scented with hints of orange was creamy and delicious. Eating it while taking in the scenery, the boats in the harbor, the sherbert colored buildings, the cliffs rising from the water - it was Heavenly.
My friends all got gelato, small cups with two flavors. Pistachio and coffee were two of the faves, both intense in flavor. My friend who gets coconut anytime it's offered said it was fantastic. read more
