Spontaneous decision to come here because we were a bit diet of eating French food everyday on a trip. Food was good, but some of the portions seemed a little too small. Mango Lassi - perfectly sweet, creamy and refreshing! Tasted like a mango milkshake and so easy to have in one go that we could have gone for seconds! Baingan Bharta - Like how this was just a perfect amount of spicy as we requested and not too oily either. Good flavor to the actual dish as well. Chicken Tikka - This was served hot sizzling on a platter; very aesthetic. There were just five pieces of chicken (fairly decently sized) and I think this was too little of a quantity to be served as an entree item. Chicken was cooked well and had a good flavor as well. I think that was one piece which had too much of the spice rub on the outside and it was a little salty because of that. Otherwise it was good. Garlic Naan - Had a little bit of spice to it on the inside which was a nice change from the classic. Also really soft which we appreciated! Noticed that the table next was got a plain naan and the size of that was much larger than the garlic one. Would have been nice to have the garlic one of that size as well. Dad and Brother ordered some items as well (on a table little away from us) and they really love the food! Loved it so much that they wanted to go back for dinner next day! Chicken Chili Fry - It was a semi gravy item and they said this was beyond amazing! Proper, spicy and very flavorful overall. "very nice with a very nice kick to it" as my brother says.. Cheese Naan was another one of your favorites; apparently it had some french cheese on the inside which was beautiful. Laal Masale Wali Chicken - It was like a butter chicken with creamy gravy. I have never reviewed any place on yelp before. But this food, these people, and this experience were the best I may have ever experienced in my life. The kindness and intentionality the staff exhibited at this truly miraculous establishment, coupled with their flavorful, transformative, life changing cuisine in an oasis of tranquility and peace, amid an atmosphere of belonging and sincerity is why I have now visited Delhi Belhi two nights in a row, and am highly considering cancelling other reservations to make time for another exceptional meal here. There are many things I have enjoyed and will miss from my trip to France, but nothing will ache as much as my longing to be able to return to Delhi Belhi when I have returned home. I found God in Nice at Le Delhi Belhi. Food? Unbelievable. Service? Unmatched. Ambiance? Heavenly.

This food was A+! I got the tikka masala and it was great. Went with my family and had great service, good drinks, and delicious food!

Poor service, poor food. We ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and it was by far the worst I've tasted. The consistency was watery and was not properly made. Ginger beer was extremely sweet. The naan was the best part. Don't bother with the pakoras that we got. No chutney was offered and no papadam. I'm Indian and I can say this place is not authentic. Don't waste your time or money on this place. When we told the server that our food wasn't good, he didn't know what to say. He didn't apologize or try to make another one. read more

Was surprised to find good Indian food in Nice. I'm normally more critical of Indian restaurants because well, I'm Indian. Came here from the recommendation of our bike tour and we left with happy stomachs (= FOOD Shrimp Samosa (3.5 stars): Haven't tried shrimp samosas before but I'm glad we ordered it. The samosa was perfectly crispy on the outside, just needed more filling of the shrimp. Chicken Tikka Masala (4.5 stars): Looks and tastes different than the chicken tikka masala I'm used, this one isn't reddish in color, but it was still delicious! The chicken was really tender also! Naan (4 stars): Not from a clay oven, but still very good! SERVICE (5 stars) Great service, spoke English, and French haha wasn't used to Indians speaking French, awesome! ATMOSPHERE Outdoor and Indoor seating. Started raining on us so glad they had the umbrellas up outside! Everything was cooked well and tasted great! I enjoyed flavorful Baigan Bharta and my husband raved about the vegetable biryani. The Pakoras were nothing to write home about. Stayed in Nice for 5 days. After 4 days of eating french and Italian food, was craving something different. Tried this place based on reviews and glad I did! We are Asians who love spicy food so we tried the Chicken Chili Fry, Garlic Naan, and Lamb Biyari. Everything was delicious and a bottle of wine was also reasonably priced. We were extremely happy with both the food and service. Would highly recommend if you want a something bit different from the Nicoise cuisine. We stopped in based on previous reviews and because it looked like a family run spot--but food was not fresh (dry, reheated feel to chicken and curries; shrimp samosas had dry shrimp; rice was cold and clumpy, and clearly not freshly made). Yes! Me likey. On a whim, ex-pat pal and I walked thru the rainy, narrow streets to this little oasis. We decided on Indian because it sounded warm and filling. She'd been and really recommended it as the best Indian in the city. Got there WAY too early at 6pm. Normal dinner time in Nice is 8pm. I'm a dumb, old yank so it's 6pm pour moi. But they obliged us. Thank you kind sirs. We immediately ordered a Mango Lassi. Ah yeah. Delicious and not overly sweet. I had chicken tikka masala, she had chicken korma. Delicious. The garlic naan was awesome as well. Was too filled up from the lassi and naan to finish din-din so we planned to takeaway. Note... Leftovers is sort of strange in France. My pal asked for hers to go and I thought that meant mine was lumped in to go as well. Les nope. But no worries, as we'd bought French pastry for later. Great food, service and charm. If you've never had Indian food in your life and want a nice bland introduction this might be the place for you. Now the food itself was OK, it wasn't "bad". But if I had to compare this Indian food to all the other Indian food I've had in my life it would rank amongst the worst. The flavor in my palak paneer was weak, almost just sautéed spinach. My friend ordered butter chicken which lacked the normal richness you find in this dish, and my parhata was closer to bread than the buttery flaky delight I'm used to. Also I got attitude when I asked for the second rice we ordered that they forgot (which costs extra by the way which was also a first). Not sure if I came on a bad day since this place has so many good reviews but the things I found wrong don't seem like they would change on a different day. All in all, food is fine (mediocre?) but if you're looking for actual Indian I would skip this place. read more

Surprise find in Nice. My husband and I are Indian and we felt like having a meal with lots of flavor, and we got lucky. We asked them specifically please make the food "indian spicy"! We ordered the tandoori prawns for starters, the dish was nice. We also ordered the lamb biriyani, dal tadka, and chicken madras. These dishes were spicy and delicious. The dal in particular was on point. I am usually wary of Indian restaurants but the food tasted fresh here and the owner was very helpful. I would recommend this place! read more
