It was a windy evening coming back from a long day on a Monaco day tour so we TripAdvisored and Yelped until we picked out this spot to dine. After asking a few people along the way for directions, we realized it's in a small street alley but don't be fooled, there's some quality food at this cozy eatery. In general, I've noticed Indian food can be fairly pricey and this is no exception. That being said, they give a fair quantity for the price. My dad and I each ordered a full course meal. The full course meal is a good value but one problem is that they restrict you to only chicken curry. I wish they would just allow you to pick any entree (at least veg or chicken if not seafood). I really wanted butter chicken or chicken tikka masala so that was a bummer. Another issue is that you only get rice so naan is extra. It's not much but if you come from America where many Indian restaurants give you a naan and a serving of rice when you order an entree, you won't be thrilled. Take those two points carefully! Everything else was fairly standard. A Sri Lankan Tamil family runs the restaurant with the dad being the chef and the daughter being the server so my dad was able to communicate with her as he speaks Tamil. She speaks English, French, Tamil, and who knows what else?? And since the place opens for dinner for 7 and most locals come for dinner late around 8:30 or 9, the place was packed. I was very impressed as she was waiting 6 tables and speaking multiple languages. Food was tasty. So as I said before, the full course meal option is limited to chicken curry but my dad was able to get chicken vindaloo substituted for himself. It comes with the entree, choice of appetizer, rice, and choice of ice cream. We both got onion bhajias for our appetizers (onions fried with a batter), and I got chocolate ice cream while he got mango ice cream. Overall, a very filling meal and quantity well worth it if you're willing to shell out 40-45 Euro for two people's full course meals and personally, I regret not talking to our server more haha...

Great Indian food. As a person with an Indian grandmother who cooks frequently this place reminded me off home. Highly recommend.

Spontaneous decision to come here because we were a bit diet of eating French food everyday on a…read moretrip. Food was good, but some of the portions seemed a little too small. Mango Lassi - perfectly sweet, creamy and refreshing! Tasted like a mango milkshake and so easy to have in one go that we could have gone for seconds! Baingan Bharta - Like how this was just a perfect amount of spicy as we requested and not too oily either. Good flavor to the actual dish as well. Chicken Tikka - This was served hot sizzling on a platter; very aesthetic. There were just five pieces of chicken (fairly decently sized) and I think this was too little of a quantity to be served as an entree item. Chicken was cooked well and had a good flavor as well. I think that was one piece which had too much of the spice rub on the outside and it was a little salty because of that. Otherwise it was good. Garlic Naan - Had a little bit of spice to it on the inside which was a nice change from the classic. Also really soft which we appreciated! Noticed that the table next was got a plain naan and the size of that was much larger than the garlic one. Would have been nice to have the garlic one of that size as well. Dad and Brother ordered some items as well (on a table little away from us) and they really love the food! Loved it so much that they wanted to go back for dinner next day! Chicken Chili Fry - It was a semi gravy item and they said this was beyond amazing! Proper, spicy and very flavorful overall. "very nice with a very nice kick to it" as my brother says.. Cheese Naan was another one of your favorites; apparently it had some french cheese on the inside which was beautiful. Laal Masale Wali Chicken - It was like a butter chicken with creamy gravy. Also nice.

The kindness and intentionality the staff exhibited at this truly miraculous establishment, coupled with their flavorful, transformative, life changing cuisine in an oasis of tranquility and peace, amid an atmosphere of belonging and sincerity is why I have now visited Delhi Belhi two nights in a row, and am highly considering cancelling other reservations to make time for another exceptional meal here. There are many things I have enjoyed and will miss from my trip to France, but nothing will ache as much as my longing to be able to return to Delhi Belhi when I have returned home. If you want to feel pure joy, please, do yourself a favor, and pay a visit to this incredible establishment.

First off, this is not Indian in a fast food environment with regards to cost and service. So don't…read moreassume it's significantly cheaper It's still a family restaurant without many tables. The husband and wife has kids and their family friends/relatives kids that are teenagers and help serve the food. If you expect prompt and regular service, I don't think this is the place. It's more of a restaurant served in an informal setting. There's nothing like have family friends/old aunties communicating in Hindi with the cooks and stuff and talking about family problems in India while you're eating haha. It's a little cheaper than some of the other Indian restaurants in the area. They do have a huge menu like a full-service Indian restaurant. Every category (veg, chicken, fish, mutton, etc.) is covered and they have non-Indian items like kebabs and sandwiches among other items. Personally, it's not worth coming here if you just want a sandwich or kebabs. There are plenty of Middle Eastern and patisseries around. I ordered a Poulet Butter Cream (Butter chicken - 10.50 Euro) and my dad ordered Agneau Currry (Mutton curry - 10.50 Euro). Unlike a lot of American places, you have to order naan and rice separately. Ridiculous, I know. Some places, you get one free and other is extra or vice-versa. Here, your money is only the entree. Fortunately, the quantity is bigger than it looks. Two Naan nature costs 4.00 Euro (plain naan is 2.00 Euro each) and Riz nature basmati costs 5.00 Euro (Plain Basmati Rice is 2.50 Euro each). For 30 Euro, it was actually a filling and very tasty meal. And for 30 Euro, it's obviously not 'fast food'. There was much better service at the other Indian restaurant but the taste is very good here. They have a full selection of drinks to choose from (water, pop, and alcoholic beverages) so long story short, you get restaurant quality food in a casual, small environment.

The chicken curry tasted quite authentic (I'm Indian!) and the tikka masala was pretty decent too. The meat was tender and flavorful. The naan was hand made and toasted to perfection with just the right amount of ghee/butter applied. The price is affordable too. Great value! Would recommend. P.S. I would not recommend getting any of the non traditional items (kebab, chicken nuggets, etc).
