I dont' know why this place is not rated better but, it is a hidden gem so maybe that leaves more tables for the rest of us to enjoy a great experience. Not only was the food and service spectacular, they also have a very quaint hotel that is totally worth checking out, especially if you are visiting Chateau's nearby.
We arrived a bit late but the kitchen held service for us. The food was amazing and plentiful. I had the beef and my husband the fish. yummy yummy yummy. Portions were good but getting the full menu including the fromage course was too much. I think sticking with a 3 item menu would have been fine, but we wanted the full experience.
We also stayed at the hotel, yes, our room was 2 flights of stairs up but it was a great room in a loft area with a queen bed as well as a twin in a separate area. Would have been great for a small family or if traveling with a relative. Room was clean, warm and well ventilated.
We came back after the Chateau tour and even had lunch, great pizza, especially if you like very thin crust.
Thanks for helping us celebrate our Wedding, you all were amazing. read more
