【œuf en meurette】Egg in red wine sauce meurette. This was made of an half-done egg, some crispy lardons and some kind of meat or maybe gut. It tasted strong, salty, yummy and fresh. Very good one for an entrée.
【Quenelle de brochet sauce Nantua】Fresh, tasty, yummy, soft and cheesy. Very typical lyonnaise food and I liked it a lot.
【Bière】I really like meals with beer, quenching and refreshing. And because it was in the afternoon, I saw many young ppl sitting outside, nearby Place Bellecour, grabbing a beer in hand, chatting and enjoying the sunshine.
【Tarte aux pralines】This was really one of my favorite desserts so far. Since lunch at Le Caveau was my last meal in Lyon, how could I miss praline? It was soft, juicy and of course delicious.
【Café】Salty food lets me try everything; sweet dessert clears out all the messy tastes in my mouth; and un café with taste of bitter ends a meal perfectly. This was an enjoyable luch.

【Saucisson chaud et pomme vapeur】Another sausage. Lyonnaise just love all kinds of sausage right? But this was really good! It was stuffed with much pistachio, and the sauce was amazing
【Boudin noir et son duo de pommes】Yes this is the blood sausage. Well.... Yes we Chinese also eat blood so... I can't say this is crazy, but still felt a bit uncomfortable about what I was eating. The touch of it was weird, the taste was not that bad. I've talked to a Lyonnaise
【Tarte Tatin】Carry somehow really missed apple tart so she ordered one. It was hot, sweet and delicious. I didn't really like hot desserts, preferring cold ones better.
Though this is a Lyonnaise restaurant, yet it also has typical American dishes. Say there was a man coming by and has a huge plate of burger and fries, which looked tempting. read more
