Outstanding
Went here for a special occasion and was not disappointed. Make a reservation. Excellent French cuisine and innovative chef. Everything was cooked to perfection. Delicious flavor combinations even the steamed bass roulade accompanying vegetables were tasty. Also, and important to me, the portions were right sized, not too big but very satisfying, not cute whimsical portions that leave you hungry after emptying your wallet. Extensive wine list to choose from from local wines to Bordeaux grand cru. Service was excellent and attentive.
We had the tomatoes in pesto sauce with creamy burrata cheese and the cold melon and watermelon soup to start. For main courses, the miso-lacquered salmon steak, my wife had the steamed bass roulade.
For dessert we had the crisp chocolate cake with speculoos ice cream and fresh goat cheese panna cotta with strawberries and raspberry sorbet.
We ate outside in the garden next to the ancient city wall. read more
