Excellent French style food, in a beautiful, relaxing setting. The coffee is excellent, but it's closer to French style coffee than Australian (which I personally prefer). Would still highly recommend as a brunch spot!

In a word: amazing! We dined here last weekend, party of 4 and were seated immediately. The decor…read moreof the place is really cute and cozy; has a rustic feel to it. The service was prompt and very friendly. You order at the counter based on your table number. They are known for their croissants but their food is an absolute delight as well! Our party ordered: the Bam Bam burger, the Tonkatsu Karaage Chicken Burger (with double chicken), Kiss My Hass with halloumi cubes. and the Sticky Korean Chicken Bowl. Plus sides of fries and sweet potato fries. Not an exaggeration: everything was delicious! I ordered the Kiss My Hass - you can get a smashed avo anywhere these days but this one was pretty special with the pecans and the vinaigrette; it really elevated the dish. There was also a very substantial amount of avo included which is always appreciated. I only tasted bites of the other dishes but I have to say the chicken in the burger and also in the bowl were both exceptional. Very moist and the flavour was on point. Of course we wouldn't leave without trying their pastries too. We packed them up to go as we were in food comas. The pastries travelled well and were delicious even a couple of hours later. We got a lemon tart, the cinnamon cruffin, and the Nutella cruffin. I had the cinnamon cruffin and it was amazing. Probably the second best cinnamon scroll type pastry I've ever had. Overall my only disappointment is that I won't be able to eat their food when I return to Chicago.

I used to live near Mermaid Beach and heard that a famous Aussie actor had recommended this spot…read more The décor and atmosphere give it a real hidden-gem feel. I stopped by for a quick coffee and baked good at lunch, and everything was super fresh. I'd definitely recommend Bam Bam for a quick treat and coffee.
