This has been one of my favourite restaurants in Northern France and I have visited many times, most have been rewarded with good service and delicious food. Last Sunday 13th December 2009 I took five of my family, ages ranging from 88 to 50 yrs. The serivce was dreadful. It was over half an hour before our drinks order was taken and an hour between our entree and main meal. When the main meal arrived it was luke warm at best. Any attempt to attract attention was ignored and tables near us arrived after our party and had finished their meal before our main meal even arrived. I accept that it was busy but other parties were definitely receiving preferential treatment. I wouldn't mind but I had built up my recommendation so highly and had to apologise for bringing the family so far for such poor service. Not the best service or food that I have had from a French restaurant. I ordered the Dish of the day and it was Dry Duck and Cardboard Chips. The restaurant was also very noisy with a large group of local old people who thought it was necessary to shout at each other all the time. The restaurant can seat in excess of 150 people so don't think it is a quaint small place tucked away in the countryside of France. When busy there seems to be a lack of staff to keep the waiting time between courses to a reasonable time. I had planned to take my friends to the restaurant but on this experience I don't think it will be happening. eh bien vraiment surfait ! ils vivent sur leur réputation trop cher par rapport à ce qui y est servi.somme toute ,pas plus que dans une brasserie ! alors bien sûr le décor est sympa mais le costume des serveuses est d'une propreté douteuse tout comme les bancs qui vous salissent pour peu que vous portiez des vêtements de couleurs claires .et qu'il fasse un peu chaud ! et pour cloturer le toutun sens de l'accueil limite ! je ne le conseille pas read more

les plats arrive froid on le signal cela n inquiete personne des plats non commandé arrive et il faut attendre plus de 15 minutes pour avoir le bon: donc on mange froid et pas en meme tps de plus l acceuil pas terrible pour un soir de semaine ou ils etaient loin d etre debordé franchement ni aller pas!!!! c est une perte de temps d argent et il vivent sur le réputation . read more

une étoile et encore !!! qualité des repas douteuse malgré la quantité et prix exagéré pour un repas digne d'une friterie de quartier!!! Propreté des WC laissant à désirer. Super sympa en tout point il y à quelques années ,c est devenu plus que nul sauf le décor! Attente interminable à l entrée , service plus que lent et nourriture infâme j ai laisse mon assiette pleine !à moins que les patrons ne fassent quelque chose le brueguel restera un piège à touristes read more
