Looking for a charming little spot for a meal out with the hubby (we don't live too far away but…read moreare new to the region) and came here per great reviews. I was skeptical about the period costumes etc., but it was actually not at all kitsch. It was charming, beautiful, a great mix of old and redecoration/remodelling.
The menu is good, fairly big choice of typical French fare from the region (beware stinky cheese!!!) If you're a fussy eater and don't like odd meats and strong cheeses, go for the Welsch.
When we arrived we were alone and it was really cool, and then when people arrived and it filled up it was another ambiance that was also cool.
The food wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was good enough. Service was great.
I'll def. be back here, if for nothing else the experience.
Total bill for two dinners, two desserts, and two beers was 48€. Pretty fair, large quantity of food.
