The mojito was perfectly balanced between sweet, tangy and minty. A nice touch was the glass pitcher of water brought to the table and replaced often with fresh ice cold water, especially on the hot summer day. We were given bread right away. Our order consisted mainly of appetizers, however the food was brought out all together as per our request. If you try ONE thing here, you need to try the scallops! They're perfectly cooked, soft and sweet with a touch of salt. Absolutely magical! I have no complaints about any of our food, this establishment really puts an effort to make balanced dishes that promote the unique flavors of their ingredients. The restaurant was incredibly busy at 5pm on a Saturday, but we were seated right away. Make sure to call ahead for a reservation if you're planning to go on a busy night. Margo was our server, and she was very accommodating and fast. The restaurant is situated in the center of Trois Rivière's Centre Ville, which can be hectic on weekends, however the restaurant does a good job at creating a relaxing space to enjoy your food. We didn't stick around for the craziness of the town, ate dinner early and got out which was quite nice.

Every dish was delicious and inventive. The stand out were the French onion soup served inside a large roasted onion, topped with a crispy crustiani topped with caramelized onions and the duck pate served with roasted vegetables on thick slices of homemade bread. We felt very comfortable and welcomed in a room full of French speaking locals. Our server took the time to explain the Menu and give her suggestions which were all amazing every if I didn't name them here. I'm sure we will return!

One thing I feel a bit weird about is that there's so many spicy things on the menu. The onions in the tacos were very strong so it felt spicy. The mac and cheese was okay as well. I think they have a great menu, lots of good choices. I ended up getting sort of a mix of eggs, cheese, bacon, and breakfast potatoes. It was great! Portions are big but not so much that you won't be able to finish. Unless you have a small appetite. My grandmother got waffles and they were definitely too big for her. The decor isn't fancy but it also isn't too casual. It doubles as a brunch/steak house at night. Really liked it here and would recommend it.
