The inside of this one looks exactly like the one in Toronto- dark, lots of music and a full bar. It's spacious and they have outdoor seating as well. Service is attentive and good. I like how it's located in a pedestrian area. I ordered the carne asada tacos and they were okay. The meat was kind of hard but the flavour was good. One thing I feel a bit weird about is that there's so many spicy things on the menu. The onions in the tacos were very strong so it felt spicy. The mac and cheese was okay as well. Overall it's alright for the price. I ended up paying about $11 after tax and tip.

I'm vegan an eating no gluten, no problemo, a few choices available! Green salad: balsamic a little bit too vinaigretty for me. But fresh yummy veggies. Arrabiata gluten free penne: simply yummy! This sauce is just amazing: perfect mix if tomatoes, garlic, and spices. And the sauce is just thick enough to stay on pasta. Would definitely come back! For a date: I was on a quiet evening. It can definitely sit a lot of people so my guest is it can get noisy. On my night: soft music. Love the soft romantic lighting; feels like we are on a patio at night.

They have a patio out front and an adorable back patio as well. The first visit, I had roast chicken pasta that was really good. I also had a Caesar salad to start. Everyone with me enjoyed their food. The only recommendation would be to have more variety of wines and have them all available. The first night, they had no rosé and the second night, they only had one bottle so we switched to white. The second night, I had a mix of appetizers which was also very good. The pasta from the first night was some of the best I have ever had, though it was heavy. They were busy both nights, but the service was great. I would definitely recommend this spot while in Trois Rivières.

As for lunch I ordered the Nachos Mexique and Pooh ordered the Cream of Carrot soup and a poutine The soup was very tasty and had a good carrot taste. Generous portion; the fries crispy and the sauce was not too salty The nachos were amazing!! They arrived piping hot and had sauce and cheese all the way to the bottom - no dry chips - I was very impressed. The restaurant is spacious and it has different types of seating. For example we took the easy chairs but I needed a second cushion to keep me propped up to the table There is also regular tables and chairs if you feel these easy chairs are too far from the table.

We were told to…read morewait for 40 mins for a table of 4, we had passed up the wait time, but we shortly returned the next Friday, and was promptly seated! The vibe inside was hip, relaxing and had an ambiance that reminded me of Cactus Club Cafe. The colorful drinks on the menu was one of the reasons why we were interested in trying out this restaurant. Our server also informed us about the special drink of the day, which was sold at a cheaper price. However, I had ordered the virgin 'Litchi Dandy' (without alcohol $5.25). I enjoyed how it came with two lychees in the drink, but I feel like ordering the virgin took away from the drink and I should have just ordered the one with the alcohol. Food wise, I ordered the Lobster Roll ($19.95) and the Deux Saumons ($25.95 - the poke bowl which came with rice and fresh vegetables). I found the Lobster Roll way too overpriced for what I had received. I received a (mostly) shrimp and lobster filling within a cold hot dog bun. I felt that they could have put more lobster into the sandwich if it was priced at $19.95, and that they could have at least toasted the bun to make each bite have more texture. The Lobster Roll came with fries and coleslaw on the side. The Deux Saumons was delicious! I haven't had a chance to try poke in Trois-Riveries and it was actually quite enjoyable. One thing to improve would probbaly to have better quality rice, because it tasted very dry and old. However, I enjoyed the taste of the poke, and the sauces that came with the dish also compliemented the poke very well! I do want to also address that they have THE fastest service here! Our serveur was quick grab our orders, had brought our food out within 20 minutes, and cleared our table as soon as we finished. They were very attentive and accomodated to us by speaking to us in english! I just wish that it wasn't so pricey here, because I would definitely return for that poke bowl!
