We made a reservation here and were surprised to find a very small, very casual shotgun style restaurant. We were seated about 5 tables from the entrance with a good view of how many people were turned away without a reservation. This is a basic crepe restaurant with savory and sweet crepes, and that is about it. Good thing they are really tasty! We stared with a Kir Breton and a Kir Normand - two excellent drinks we would have often while in Normandy. For our crepes we had a Chevrette -- œuf, jambon, chèvre, salade verte et tomate fraiche, and an Antilope -- œuf, jambon, emmental, champignons, tomates cuites, ail. The flavors were outstanding. Mine, the Antilope, had an over easy egg right on top as we would learn most crepes in the city do. The Chevrette did not. For dessert we shared a caramel and pear with Chantilly crepe. Well, we were in France, so the requirement turned into good and easy because there is no quick. We were seated on the patio (most of the restaurant is patio) in the midst of a lively lunch crowd. Our service was good and everything we ordere fit the need and the expectation perfectly. We split some salad, some fries, some cheese and some sausages. All very good. Then for dessert a crepe. This was not a great meal and the patio is a bit hot, but it was still a perfect launch into the French atmosphere. It totally fit the need.
