Once we arrived it became very busy due to the other passengers behind us. The staff became overwhelmed but was very nice and accommodating. Wonderful location up on the hill so you get the breeze. We had 8 in our group (4 adults/4 children) and selected several menu items. The menu had good choices for the kids. Everyone was very happy with their meals. Good quality and favors. My tuna and Swordfish was excellent! (pictured). Swordfish was not over cooked and went well with the vegetable ragu underneath. My wife had the Costica sausage and cheese pasta. Excellent! Nice wine and dessert selection. You have to try the chocolate cake! Due to the heavy rush of people from the boat we waited for the first course to arrive and it took us almost 2 hours to finish the meal. So no time to look around or swim! The meal with entree, dessert, wine totaled 238 euros. But in our opinion well worth it! I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 due to the understaffing resulting in wait time and "losing" my 11 year old son's meal AND dessert!

We did order a bottle of rosé which was super cold and put in an ice bucket. The staff kept checking on us to make sure we were in good shape. The owner is very friendly. If you're anywhere near Piana, you must find an excuse to stop here for at least a glass of something on their terrace. I almost fainted when I saw the view. But since I didn't, I proceeded to snap pics in front of the worlds most ideal backdrop. It's a hotel + restaurant, but you can just pop in for a drink during sunset prime time. Drinks are shockingly affordable (wines for $7-10 glass). We decided to stay for dinner too, and the food was good -- not the best we had in France, but still impressive. Service was some of the most polished we experienced in Europe. Prepare for the celebrity treatment, without the celeb prices. Heaven!
