This happened again last night after arriving in Corsica - and feeling hungry for one of my favourite foods- Mussels! Or, as the French call them- moules frites. We ended up at Chez Alain just as a magnificent sunset was being painted on the horizon. The menu had two pages of Mussels- my son and I went for plates of Indienne and Corsoise. I usually dislike hyperbole, and I would not blame you, reading this review, for raising your eyebrows now. But these mussels at Chez Alain are to die for- because when you eat them you will think you had died and gone to heaven. And that is all I have to say about Chez Alain in Corsica.
