Surprisingly good lunch at this small bar.

Cost to worth it rating: 4
Return worthiness: yes)
Highlights:
- Croque monsieur: creamy béchamel under a layer of toasted cheese on top of the sandwich. One of the best we've had. 4.5 stars
- Cod mashed potato (brandade): small circle dish filled with these ingredients and dill. Different and comforting on a cooler day. 3.5 stars
- Strawberry custard tart: fresh bright strawberries on top of a substantial amount of custard on a firm crusty pastry with whip cream on each side. 4.5 stars
- Quaint as the menu is only written on a chalkboard they bring to the table to order.
- Open Sunday during the day when most other places are closed.
Lowlights:
- Small bar without much room if it's a rainy day and the patio isn't able to be used.
Was happy to find this spot and wasn't expecting much but it was pretty delicious. read more
